Have been contacted with information regards some special feature in Western Mail today about celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Carlo being the pretender Prince of Wales, that slipped passed me. My mind is on the 40th Anniversary of his 1969 Investiture as Prince of Wales all the time, forgot totally about this 50th Anniversary. Whatever, from information receieved on the 'BRADWYR BANQUET' at Castell Caerfilli, and what a well chosen venue of course, a Conquorers Castle but was there any Patriotic Protests? a little Placard Picket Parhaps? After all this is where Llywelyn Bren held a protest in 1316 (see my blog I'r Gad http://brwydr.blogspot.com), where he killed some English Tax Collectors and stormed the Castle. However, It seems the spirit of Tommy Cooper has overwealmed Welsh Nationalists in Caerfilli, as for Southern Vallies ''Welsh Republicans'' going into action, not likely too busy thinking about the Eisteddfod and their annual outing to Tafarn Llywelyn.

Sigh! why do I bother? So, I am not going to say much, time to end this muttering against English Royalty and our own Devolution Dillettant, Tartan Taffs and ''Renegade Republicans" et al. Sadly many of whom are former 'Cyfamodwyr' and some long time 'Cilmeriaid', many of whom I guess now perhaps may be viewed as 'Deisyfwyr'. We may have a new movement here MUDIAD DEISYFWYR CYMRU in which I am sure the writter of the following email to be first up for membership, I just hope he then does the honourable thing and leaves the medal Cayo give him on Cayo's grave. As for sure like many others who have had such medals and hold such weak kneed oppinion, are undeserving of holding such awards from Commandant Cayo.
.
The below is in response to my first post on matter of the Cambria Petition, I want name the person who sent it, but he has told me in the past, that he was unsure why he got a medal from Cayo, and thus should not be held to hold up any patriotic principal it speaks of, like bravery perhaps or maybe just a little courage and commitment to up holding 'Ysbryd Cilmeri'. I think many need to be reminded of 'Cyfamod Cilmeri 82'. Whatever, read on the following 'Cop Out' buet of a statement of petitioners patheticism to say the least:

I think you are too late - I have signed it and added a 'Comment' - which will probably mark me down for 'Further attention, required'. My reason for signing was how in all honesty can we be expected as a Nation with some self respect to respect a tradition which makes it OK to try to put us in our place by reminding us our last native prince paid with his life and his head on a stick paraded through the streets of London. Is this a message that should be passed on ad infinitum via the Royals - is it a useful spend of taxpayers money or the correct use of the Royal Purse or a not so cheap political jibe towards a people who despite being downtrodden through the centuries has still the backbone to offer at least this minimal form of Resistance!
.
Backbone, f****** Backbone! ''Minimal Resistence'', what a slavish petition? Great Gods!!! What his he talking about? Please, please, please spare me this drivel, the English will only respect Welsh Patriots when they get up and make fight of it, a show of STRUGGLE FOR SOVEREIGNTY, fin! Words come cheap, action counts for all, in 68 I got carried off with other patriots for protesting against Carlo, and in 1976 again with a few others an attempt was made to blockade Castell Harlech, to stop Liz gaining entry, we failed but at least we tried. I am well aware that over the years other Patriots have been in action, not too far in the past even, outside the Assembly there was a demo against the English Royals. However, I am talking now and in the future. I fear that having seen the ''Cambrianistas'' lead you down a blind ally to Assembly in support of the ''Suckers Senedd'', they will now lead you down another blind ally with petitioning rather than protesting. Got the message!!!! Now get off the fence or rather your knees, awake and arise, go foward in struggle, not sign useless and what will be a totally ignored petition. Just in case, you are not aware of who & what, where & when this is all about, see below:

Gogs, don't be too put out about the Hwntws having Carlo
to themselves in the South and West, and at Castell Caerffili,
as I hear your going to get a mighty big 'Charm Offensive'
next year? Complete with Investiture 1969 Exhibition in
Caernarfon Castle, plus a 'Banquet Bradwyr'. Maybe
they will throw in a Royal Circuit of Gwynedd to equal
the one in 1969. What you going to do about it?
Petition or protest and show the Hwntws you got more
guts when it comes to telling English Pretenders where the
hell to go? Whatever, think about it, maybe D&D it at the
Eisteddfod, have a good few months to organise another
patriotic petition, whoops! I mean Patriotic Protest?
.
Afterthought, whilst on subject of Royal Circuits, 2008
is the 725th of 1283 completion of Conquest of Cymru,
2009 is 725th anniversary of 1284 Statutes of Rhuddlan,
Edwards Royal Circuit of Pen Llyn and not least is great
victory Celebration in what is now known as Edwards
Field, Nefyn. HHHhhhmmm! hows about a great
Rali Yma o Hyd, kind of Mass Mobalisation of Welsh
Nationalist, Republicans and Socialists - to say stuff
the English Royal Family and No to Another Investiture
of Another English Pretender Prince of Wales.
.
Now, ain't that a great idea but who would dare
to organise such? and who would help fund (cannot
see grants fourthcoming for this event)? and who
would give their services free to help organise and of
course entertain? I suggest one and all, be they
Cyfamodwyr, Cilmeriaid or betime of Eisteddfod, former
'Deisyfwyr' even, get down to D&D this too, and maybe
form a Working Party to look into this wonderful patriotic
idea further. After all this could be a once in a lifetime
opportunity to really commit to radical patriotic action
against the fourth coming Investiture of another English
Prince of Wales? I am sure that the years ahead full of
constant protest actions will make them think twice, a
petition will not even disturb their sleep. So please do
not fool yourselves otherwise, as the poor lost
Patriotic Soul above, and some who really should know
bloody better.

Whilst your chewing the fat on all these heavy duty suggestions, I will leave you to view another of my Paris fotos (below). This time of Sacre Couer atop Montmarte, no, I have not gone religious it was all part of the 1871 Field Trip. Although I must add, I am as much impressed by Cathedrals as I am of Castles, Monuments and Cemetaries. Mass was underway when I went it to a packed house, and truelly the Nuns singing was really pleasant easy listening. After walking much of the way, it was really relaxing to sit there and listen to angels sing, no, I did not convert to Catholicism but all the same, very impressive. As was Montmarte itself, I shall definatly return to Paris but next time it's the museum trip. Meanwhile you will have to go over to RED REMEMBRANCER for more of Paris Commune 1871, but I also have fotos of Medieval Heroes Statues and French Resistance Plaques to go up on one of my blogs or another. However for now, back to my ''Summer Break'' now, so you will have to wait till Autumn to see much of this.
