The 'SHAM SENEDD' aka ASSEMBLY OF APPEASEMENT WITH ENGLISH IMPERIALISM. Is this as good as it gets? and if so is it really childishly churlish and unfair to describe the A.M's who are sent there as ''Quislings'' & ''Bradwyr'', no more than ''Devolutionist Dummies'' or ''Sham Senedd Scumbags''. All perfectly useless as far as seeking to 'Save Our Sovereignty' and establish a parliament equal to that in Scotland, expecting A.M's to work towards Independence is not really in the realms of reality. Now that is unfair and does not take aboard at least allowing 'Benefit of Doubt' that A.M's do much good work at the Assembly on behalf of their constituents, consituency and from time to time even for Wales. Let us consider that they are sincere in their own Political beliefs which of course they are entitled to. Further, let us consider for one moment our ''Peripheral Patriotic'' beliefs of 'Resurgence' and 'Republicanism' aka ''Alternative Welsh Nationalist Struggle'', is all just pie in the sky politics. Really we need to get some PLAID PRAGMATISM? accepting Reform and Referendum and not the ideas of Republicanism and Revolution. Yes! accept the fact that one must swear Oaths to the English Queen and support the English House of Lords.

Anyway, those are my 'Armchair Revolutionary' thoughts of the moment, but what do I really think? HHHhhhmmm!!! Phil Williams RIP, once said to me "Gethin! no matter what Plaid Cymru does you will criticise them''. Of course dear Ole Phil was right, I have and I will go on doing so, for very good reasons. generally speaking over a period of 40 years I have seen Plaid ditch being a Welsh Nationalist Party, to become an English style 'Parliamentary Party' which has accepted dumbed down devolution and now accepts an English House of Lords. So, I have no regrets that I and other Patriotic Fronters quit Plaid in the 60's for very good reasons, and are still not members of Plaid. A few other so called ''Radicals'' and ''Republicans'' of any number of examples of 'Alternative Nationalisms' over the years also for a while would quit Plaid Cymru but soon go running back!

However, to be honest after collapse of the WELSH INDEPENDENCE PARTY, of which I was not a member but supported, I am in a quandary as to best way forward for ''Alternative Welsh Nationalism Movement & Struggle''. Having personally put so much effort into helping to establish 'Cymdeithas Cyfamod y Cymru Rhydd', only to see that bite the dust, always our own ''Independentist'' AWNM&S Initiatives are thwarted and destroyed by Brit Security Services Subversion plus Patriotic Stupidity. Patriotic Stupidity that allows Informers and Agent Provocateurs to get their way, WHY? I will tell you why, not enough political forethought and education and training, then worse of all the indiscipline and nonsense that comes with the ''Good Ole Boy'' Pub Politics of ''Crach Fodder Knee Jerk Poseur and Pretend Patriotism''. Add to that giving trust to Fence Sitters and those who run with the hares and hounds, who will never cross any line and give total courageous commitment to any cause, other than their own self advancement and preservation on occasion?

Sad to say I am at a loss as the conditions do not exist amongst 'Rank & File' nationalists to allow for radical fertile patriotic thinking, dare I say it, some 'Originality' and action! Nationalism of the 'Independist' kind has become a Blogs talking shop that chatters away but does little otherwise in any practical way, as far as I know. As for the AWNM&S that has become nought but a ''Peripheral Patriotic Fringe'' proclaiming it's whithering existence only at the annual Rali Cilmeri and annual Dydd Dewi Parade in Caerdydd as sad camp followers of ''TARTAN TAFFERY'' with no real radical resurgent mind of it's own? Although Balchder Cymru is showing good signs of future potential, as our Cymric ''Barrio Warriors''.

Before resigning/retiring from Embassy Glyndwr I had proposed promotion of a PLAID GLYNDWR as a Welsh National Sovereignty Party, the Embassy gave it some coverage but as such idea was not supported that well, the Embassy backed away. I am not up to taking that idea much further although I shall continue to promote and prompt an S.O.S. = SAVE OUR SOVEREIGNTY Campaign. However, this will be a pretty passive P & P via the occasional posts on the subject in my blogs in due course as & when I get inspired to do so? Having said all that, after reading about the pre - Xmas ITV ''Best Politicians in Wales Awards'', I nearly threw up and was for a while considering seriously the Anarchist way forward. I was much prompted towards consideration of ''Autonomist Action'' by reading Ian Bones 'BASH THE RICH', which I have reviewed over at RED REMEMBRANCER http://redremembrancer.blogspot.com/ I might even just really start to give such Road To Resurgence more attention, if the spark of ''Alternative Nationalism'' becomes extinguished, which I think is quite possible with the way things are going? The one bright spark on the horizon is perhaps BALCHDER CYMRU but first they really seriously got to do some deep political thinking! as to where they are exactly heading, letting all and everyone know what is the nature of ''their beast''. There is much within them to applaud as a ''Cymric Consciousness Campaign', my only doubts are regard they still cling to a form of ''Retro/Romantic Republicanism''. Some how this does not really attempt to advance any specifically Welsh Republicanism which would suit their statement to be a Political/Cymric Consciousness Movement, however they are it seems getting there? However, I would suggest they clarify much with simple Statement of Intent setting out clearly their Object and Aims in realtion to all areas they are involved in from Protest to Commemoration and Band Cambria.

By the end of the year, if not sooner I may be able to state and clarify my own particular position, regards commitment or support, as to way forward. Two choices really, an Adfywiad Gwladgarol via BALCHDER CYMRU or perhaps an 'ADFYWIAD GOCH'. It really is a matter of the ''Red & Green'', it is the whole thing that makes many Political Welsh Nationalists quite ''Skitzo'', I also. My heart is Nationalist but my Brain is Socialist! although as often as not my heart is also on occasion quite Left! I must admit the older I get, and the more I see of this Post Devolution Wales. The more I realise how much ''Alternative Nationalism'' has failed, the more I look towards an ''Alternative Socialism'', an Adfywiad Cymru Goch? and perhaps the more important struggle after all, is for the Sovereignty of the People over their own lives and Labours also not least over their communities.

What's On Line, Retirement or Resurgence?

Well if I can get out of this really comfortable arm chair and away from far too many visits to Weatherspoons in Folkestone, I might be even more productive. However, I do like Folkestone and this particular Weatherspoons. See below picture of Old Folkestone Harbour, you can buy fresh fish here and plenty of Pubs along the Harbour Walk. Folkestone has had it bad in recent years but the new fast train connections from Ashford to London and Paris have already prompted economic regeneration and it's going to get even better. The amazing thing is that property in this region is same as in the ''Old Country'', houses even in the rural areas of Cymru compare with prices of similar in Kent. What does that tell you? I will leave you work out the Socio - Economics of it all!

I am seriously considering retiring here, not that I prefer England over a return to the ''Old Country'' but just across the water is the continent and all those great European Capitals to visit in my Grey Wolf Years. For now I will just a while more sit it out here and dream of restoring a great new restored Belgae Country, maybe I can start a Cymdeithas Caradog here? At best from my blogs you will learn some history, including our own history of struggle the Crachach would like to bury. I hope you will learn that it is of no use to any cause, to be no more than a ''Knee Jerking'' Patriot ''Posuer'' and ''Pretender'' but one must be the good and best of Agit - Prop Patriots, I know I have criticised him from time to time but Adam Phillips and a few others in his Balchder Cymru circle do ''Come Up To Scratch''. Most of all I hope you will recognise some good advice, do not suffer fools! do not suffer ''Good Ole Boys'', do not suffer Detractors and Dilettantes, not least to not suffer Devolutionists for they are the Dis illusionist Defeatists that will destroy our Struggle to Save Our Sovereignty.

Beware of those who sit on fences and will not cross any line, beware of those who talk a lot but act little, not least be weary and watchful of those who run with the hares and the hounds. Oh yes! then there are the INFORMERS & INFILTRATORS working on behalf of those who seek to ensure our country is ever one that remains Conquered and Colonised, make it your priority to take care and be watchful. They have PLAID in the bag, but 'Alternative Nationalists' will ever concern them and prompt them to carry out their own underhanded subversive activities to undermine our real struggle for Cymru, Community and Culture.

If that was not bad enough, even worse are the Pied Pipers that will lead you up Blind Alleyways into dead ends, do I have to spell it out for you again, time you really did get your head out from between your legs and did a bit of thinking! Until certain Patriots or a new generation of 'Adfywiad Gwladgarwyr' arise, no! I am not going to give ''your ball'' back John 'Sion' Roberts * or who ever you and your ''Cracker Cronies'' are? including those who 'Succor' they by various means. For the truth is you kicked that ''ball'' you write about, out of field through stupidity but more so inaction. I just came along and picked up that ball, and yes I have run away with it. So I suggest you learn to play ball with me or go and get your own ball and start playing your own game, like getting up and at it, in true Patriotic Struggle not festering away as some spoilt brat crying over the big boys having run away with his ''ball''.

If opposing such is my Heresy, then yes, I am an HERETIC' too! this reminds me that it was on the 1 Mawrth 1244 that the noble ''Cathar Heretics'' at Montsegur made truce with the Crusaders that besieged them, the terms offered were surrender the Castle and give up your faith. On the 16 Mawrth 1244, The Cathars surrendered the Castle of Montsegur but not their faith. Over 200 who walked out were put into wicker cages and burnt alive for their faith - A FAITH BORN OF FURY & FIRE!!!!! Inspirational? LLYWELYN BREN REVOLT 1316.

“It is better for one man to die …
….than for a whole population to be killed by the sword”....

It was with the above words so came to an end the great southern rebellion of 1316, it was the 18 March of that year at the Castle of Ystrad Felte that Llywelyn Bren, two of his sons and other leading followers were to surrender. Only a matter of seven weeks earlier on 28 Ionawr 1316 that the revolt had began. On that day the tax collectors of Caerffili castle had set up table outside the castle gate....but no sooner had they began their business when they were set upon by the local Welsh and killed. Thus began an uprising of the long suffering native Cymry of Blaenau Morgannwg...today little remembered and certainly not memorialised by either plaque or statue * of a most noble patriot chief Llywelyn ap Gruffydd ap Rhys, ( a great grandson of the famous Ifor Bach) who we have come to know better as Llywelyn Bren....who was finally executed by means of being hung, drawn & quartered in Caerdydd sometime during the summer of 1318.

* Comedian Tommy Cooper who was born in Caerffili but only lived there for four years of his life, is to get a statue but Llywelyn Bren? C'mon Caerffili get to it! I suggest Senghenydd Patriots meet and discuss this on 28 Ionawr 2008, why not establish a local Cymdeithas Llywelyn Bren after all there is a local Tommy Copper Society and just look what they have achieved.

Note: Llywelyn Bren was imprisoned at Brecon on 22 March 1316 and also recorded has being imprisoned from 27 July 1316 to 17 June 1317 in the Tower of London with a number of his fellow rebels

The Medieval Morgannwg Initiative. is seeking to discover the remains of Llywelyn Bren and to ensure that they are restored to suitable resting place, this has possibly already been done but such information has not been made available to the general public which we feel is a justifiable request so that we may mark with commemorative indication this noble chiefs last resting place. Further, to motivate the commemoration of Llywelyn Bren and Revolt of 1316 and of his execution in 1318 by following commemorative means:

* A suitable statue memorial in Caerffili.

* Sengheneydd & other associated areas commemorative plaques.
.
* A commemorative memorial at Ystrad Felte.
.
* A plaque to mark both site of execution & burial at Greyfriars.
.
* Establishing of a Llwybr Llywelyn Bren with along trail memorial markers.
.
* The setting up of Llywelyn Bren Revolt 1316 history interpretations boards.
.

* Establishing a Llwybr Llywelyn Bren Trail.

Further, to hold annually events that will commemorate Llywelyn Bren particularly on 28 Ionawr date revolt began, 18 Mawrth date revolt ended and if discovered on date of his execution. finally also to celebrate his life, times & society by means of various activities.

799th Anniversary of the assassination of Peter de Castelnau on 15 Ionawr 1209, whilst he awaied to cross the river Rhone. This would be the most singular event which prompts the Pope to call a crusade against the Cathars and as with many assassinations in history there are many conspiracies as to who give the order 'To Kill Peter de Castelnau'.
