What is now undermining and undoing Radical struggle in Cymru/Wales is both 'Globalism' and the 'Internationalising politics of Youth' not as in meaning of an early Welsh International Socialism that would organise militant miners in strikes against captalist exploitation and send Welshmen off to die in Spain fighting against Fascism. No 'Internationalism' today is to be found at home in Anti - Global Resistance of at least an 'educated' youth to Capitalist Commercial exploition at home and abroad. A good thing but with little interest in real Welsh Issues other than if they fit the 'Metro Liberal/Socialist Menu'. Thus Open Casts might be a concern but not the sell off of Welsh Land as at Vyrnwy and else where for vast housing estates to take up England's fleeing 'White Flight' escaping the socio economic mess in England and Multi - Culturalism the English just cannot stamoche as much as the Welsh.
This 'New Internationalism' has got a lot to with youth, a generation born in closing decades of the 20th century matured in the first decade of the new Millenium, the product can be seen now in revolt in the middle East denied fullfillment of ambition but pushed by urban unemployment and rural famine. International Capitalism now a more Global uniform phenonema of World Powers and World Banks, have caused in it's toxic terrors and Comercial Cancer made social issues 'Big World Issues' on a 'Big World Stage'
and where exactly does Cymru/Wales fit in here? To my mind it is visibly in many Welsh issues and socio - Economic problems as unemployment and depopulation. not least in the Cheque Book Conquest of Post Industrial New Colonialism, ignored by the Anglo - Welsh Left and Cultural Nationalism that only sees the future of 'Yr Hen Iaith', not in the politics of community but in Crachach Native Conservative Cultural Nationalism of a petite bourgeoise Welsh Language Industry.

This is the future, this is the new history being shaped before our very eyes and yet there is an 'Old Wales' that seeks to sustain a 'Crachach Class' via saving a failed private enterprise business, a failed business too that has cost millions in the hope it will contribute to saving and sustaining native language and culture. Thus they pin so much hope on a referendum that is pretty meaningless and as pointless an exercise in deception of seeking power for powers own sake, that is not what Devolution should be about, this is why I have more faith in True Wales case for True Devolution than the lies of Plaid Cymru that it seeks Welsh Independance when it does not and as no detimination to do so.
Horrible Haines' and that attack on Plaid Cymru, Peter does not really want the WAG to have more powers, as most Welsh 'Unionist' Labour he wants the Assembly just as a useful political platform from which to attack the Tory Government in England. That's why Welsh Labour people are pretty quite about being too critical, they are doing the dirt on their baby 'True Wales' but letting 'Haines the Haughty' talk the big talk which of course does not do the referendum 'yes' campaign much good. However, he knows the 'Yesers' will win whatever and it's his job to minimise the vote percentage as he and most Welsh 'Unionist' Labour do not want a WAG more powerful than it is right now. Of course if Labour was in power they would not be too keen on the WAG at all and certainly not one where Plaid might hold some cards and be kept in a WAG Coalition 'One Wales' Policy for years to come. However, Haines knows that Plaid are all but finnished as an election force regards WAG and certainly re British General Elections, I myself believe that over the coming years Plaid will implode and all that may be left will be a 'Rural Rump'. Possibly then seeking with remnant Rural Liberals a Rural Party at least in Pura Wallia, Powys doubtful and more likly to go Tory.

The Welsh Political futue, I forseee Urban Liberals will go Labour as will some of Plaid's Left whilst possibly Leanne, Bethan et al will join with some fringe left group when they have lost their Assembly seats which they will soner or later. All this suits my secenario upon which a future Welsh 'Independance' Socialist Strategy could be based and successfully advanced but do note I qualify use the term 'Independance' under circumstances in which that such as much meaning anymore. Be WAG has more powers or not does not matter really, that the left/Labour comes to full power in the Assembly is crucial, no messing about with Plaid in Coalitions. Let the left/Labour use WAG as an Anti - Tory Platform and they will become more 'Welsh National' in frame of mind and practise. England will stay Tory using more and more right wing anti - Muslim racism to keep it in power, whilst Wales will never go down that road. At same time Plaid will implode and it's left will possibly chose rallying to the fringe left rather than moderate reformist Labour and, here there is the possibility of building a popular and Progressive Party as Political wing of a Socialist Anti - Colonial National Liberation Movement opposing right wing English Conservative Nationalism.
