At end of day 'Independence' is pretty meaningless if on the one hand Welsh Patriots do not have the guts to make a stand against the English Crown, their Royal Visits and celebrations pushed on us as will be three times in years ahead 2011, 2012 and 2013. The English Parliment actually has politically and legislativelly authourity and sovereignty over our Country and, always will as long as they tax us, make laws for us and have right to make war in our name and use our manhood as English Cannon Fodder. So little matter a Welsh Assembly more powers or not, it is an Assembly of Devolution Middle Management doing the English Governments dirty work as at the moment. The Romans had Client Tribes, the English Government as both Y Crachach Newydd as a client tribe and an Assembly as more a less a 'Vichy style' Collaborationist Colonial Administration of Welsh Quislings! The only way to change this is by Nationalists 'Going Left' and seeking with Welsh Left Parties - A 'Peoples Parliament' as a political platform from which to advance a struggle for a Socialist Free Wales! One could get out of this some opptimism but then the comments of the Politicians are interesting, ConDems aside the choice is between a Labour view and a Plaid Cymru View both are, I guess pragmatic views and even the Plaid Spokes person's arguement I would not entirely disagree with. However, I am more these days persuaded by the Labour Spokes persons views, why so I will be writting on in my next post. Suffice to say for now that Plaid I guess is being realistic and their spokesman speaks a truth and that is Plaid is not really up for Welsh Independence at all. Plaid from time to time feels the need to take it out of it's box to air it down and wave it about to keep many of their true Nationalists on board and in line as many of them fall for this, it's worth Plaid keeping up the pretense that it is an 'Independence Party' when it is most certainly not. I would not say Bethan as no political principles but I know many 'culturalists'
