AWST 2009: An Hwntw Goes North and returns re-invigourated or just seeking retirement?

.
Venedotians went south for the Eisteddfod but somewhat bored with the Eisteddfod, I decided to head North into Gwynedd for a working holiday so to speak. Had no choice really for if I wanted to get the work done it had to be that week and what a week, a week of rain but in between with a little good enough weather managed to get a few things done. I would have got a lot more done but for the rain but happy enough with what was achieved, although unhappy about not getting up Eryri with the Tibetan Flag but still did something for Cymru - Tibet Solidarity on 08 - 08 - 08, see photo below and note that more will go up on The Welsh Patriot blog soon. I have noted the ban on Y Ddraig Goch at the Olympics, I wonder if any Welsh Sporting participants (and otherwise attending as spectators) will ignore the ban and have the guts to fly a Welsh Flag as two Black Athletes made Black Power Salutes at the Mexico Olympics. I wonder, if any have the guts and courage of some conviction to tell China where to get off? For those of you who may want to do what I failed to do, why not yourselves take a Tibetan flag up Eryri. I guess it will still be worth the effort for period the Olympics run in China, and maybe will have good concluding purpose when the games come to an end on 24 Awst 2009. That day may be the day a much larger and signifigant walk to top of Eryri could be made by an organised group of people perhaps.
.
It's going to take me sometime to produce posts on my many blogs, to report fully on my working Research Holiday in Gwynedd with loads of new photos, so note below is just an indication of what is to come by end of this Month I hope? Note, the photos have little do do with vanity but are more to prove that it does not take an army, or rather organised group of people to carry out constructive patriotic activity with a purpose. Not least you do not have to travel far and wide all over the land to do some useful important work. You can do it in your own locality, the only reason I am busying myself so much with Welsh Battlefields is because others more local to them just ain't doing it. This applies to much patriotically, not least regards all that patriots could do in their own backyard and these days with a multitude of grants to fund. If your short of ideas just take a good look at my blogs, in particular I'r Gad, Urdd Brenhinol Cymru and Cofiwn Archive blog for starters.

First place of call on way North was at Cilmeri Cenotaph, the photo below points way to Caernarfon and photo below that is a model of Castell Caernarfon in the Investiture Exhibition at the Castle. That made me all but vomit! more on this and some ranting regards Pathetic Petitioners and Poseur Patriots, who want to be ''Heroes'' but are not really up for any Heroics. Post on this subject will be over on my Adfywiad Gwladgarol blog. Following on these pictures, the photo posted below were taken on a revisit to the site of the Battle of Bryn Derwin 1255 and the next is a photo of myself at site of the Battle of Bron yr Erw 1075. There will be more fuller details on this over on my I'r Gad Welsh Battlefield Campaign blog in due course with some news regards how the campaign is going.
.
Photo after that is of myself pointing towards Edwards Field in Nefyn, it was here in 1284 Edward I had his Victory over Gwynedd/Cymru Celebrations on 1st August of that tragic year. Note 2009 will mark the 725th Anniversary, I am suggesting but not myself organising an Yma o Hyd Walk into the field ( a foot path exists) with loads of Baneri Llywelyn & Baneri Glyndwr on 1 AWST 2009. This could be followed by an informal Social or more organised entertainment at Tafarn Y Bryncynan under the imposing Mynydd Garn Boduon (see on web). Further Information on Edwards Field will be posted on my Urdd Brenhinol Cymru Blog, in the mean time go search info out on the web. I am not organising any event or activity in above connection, I shall leave that to local Gwynedd Patriots or perhaps the Nefyn Community might wish to organise something. Hopefully, not so much to remember Edward I but to make a Patriotic point that we are 'Yma o Hyd'. If nothing is organised then I suggest to Patriots from other parts of Wales just make way to above on 1 AWST 2009 and do your own thing, the whole area is worth visiting as it is a most buetiful stunning and historic part of our country.
.
Foto after my Tibet Solidarity Action photo, was taken on returning South via Cilmeri Cenotaph, giving me opportunity to leave a Ball at the Cenotaph (Who left the Skull?) for John 'Sion' Roberts and his ''Hornets'' along with all other ''Daffies'' (Devolution Dilettante, Tatarn Taffs, Poseur Knee Jerker Patriots and not least Rubbish Republicans and fence sitting patriotically challenged Good Ole Boys) who, it seems want their ball back. So, there it is you ''Assholes'' you can have your deflated ball back. The question now begs to be asked now is, are you going to play hard ball Radical Nationalism, maybe at the Gate of Castell Caernarfon about 3:00 pm on the 1st July 2009, yes sure enougth 40th Anniversary or is it the reality that all your up for is the annual Tafarn Llywelyn/Rali Cilmeri and oh yes your Annual Dewi Day Parading in Caerdydd down to the Assembly of Appeasement with English Imperialism to perform homage to Lord Dic Sion Dafydd. HHHhhhmmm! me thinks by the end of 2009 we will see whose who? and what is what? kind of who one can really count on at the Barricades of our long struggle, time to get off the fence and cross the line for sure?
.
I have crossed that line a good few times, methinks it's now time to see those ''Wannabe Heroes'' get a little ''Heroic''. I will sit back and watch from a distance, after all I have challenged the Gate of Castell Caernarfon thrice, how about you? or you? or you? I particularly have the organisers and supporters of that pathetic petition against another Investiture in mind. Meanwhile, I have heard on the grapevine that some ''Patriot Grouplet (guess who?)'' is organising a commemoration at Abergele in memory of the Abergele Martyrs next year. I remind that this as an annual event was eventually halted in respect to relatives wishes. I will still observe those wishes regards any future Abergele rally unless I hear that the relatives have changed their minds. However, I am calling for as many Patriots as possible to visit graves of Merthyron Abergele throughout July 2009 to pay homage and lay wreaths and other flower tributes on their graves, on the 40th Anniversary of their sacrifice in the Anti - Investiture struggle of 1969.
.
Most importantly throughout July 2009, particularly on 1 July 2009 place Ivy 'Black Ribboned 1284' Crosses against Gate/Steps/Wall of Castell Caernarfon, in a symbolic reminder that there will be patriotic protest action against another Investiture, the matter will not be left just to pathetic petitioning. I suggest if any rally is to be organised it may be actually more fitting if it was held in Caernarfon (than Abergele) with parade from 1282 memorial proceeding around the Castle for speeches at the Gate, this being best held on Saturday following 1st July. Why? more preferable than at Abergele, well because it shows that sacrifice of the Abergele Martyrs was not in vain, and indicate that there are patriots who will not be diverted into dead ends or distracted away from the real ''Barricades of Struggle''. This would more likly be best opportunity of ensuring a large Patriotic body to such a National Demonstration being both commemorative event and a protest against another Investiture. But who would organise that, anyone up for it? It should up to 'Venedotians' to organise really, and make call for Patriots from all over Cymru to join them in such 40th 1st July 1969 Anniversary Demonstration. As otherwise it will be said, that it is just ''outsiders'' coming into Caernarfon - the 'English Royal Borough' just to cause trouble because Carlo is visiting the town and Castle. Again if no one bothers to organise such patriotic activity then just focus on ''Autonomous Action'' of the Adfywiad Agit - Prop Kind, unless of course Cambria Magazine goes beyond petitioning and sponsors an Anti - Another Investiture protest and National Demostration headed by it's Editorial Staff and subscribers? No! I cannot see that coming off, for sure by next year the ''Cambrianistas'' will be well into amnesia about petitions and protests against another Investiture, even though Carlo's ''Holiday Home'' is close to Cambria Magazine home base in Ystrad Tywi.
.
As for myself having contributed to one Anti Investiture struggle with Patriotic commitment in 1969, and participating in closure of the Castle with sit down at the gate in 1983. The latter protest action was against the WTB/Cadw Festival of Castles, in the same year I managed to run through the gates with a replica of Y Croes Naid in an attempt to plant it on that Investiture 1969 ''Dais of Defeat'' in the Castle Grounds. I did not quite make it, the Police Detectives were marking me and forestalled my plans and kicked me out, oh well, at least I tried. For next year, I am organising my own event to commemorate the Adfywiad Gwladgarol Fawr '69. Further details in due course, in the mean time check out my Alternative Welsh Nationalist Movement & Struggle Archive blog for information on the Anti - Investiture Struggle of 1969.

Last but not least, note I am on a big home move in mid Sept, so home base PC and much else will be off line for perhaps a good while, so please put up with continued irregularity of blog posting and answering of emails. Sorry!. It is worthwhile pointing out again that in 2011 I shall definatly be retiring from much patriotic political work and this will mean most of my blogs will be closed down by then, as I archive them. By 2011 much of my archive work will be completed and also I have two books under way and due for publication. Not least much work will have been done and I will have got a lot of my chest so to speak, so remaining years can be quite and peacefull ones? How about you?

G.ap Gruffydd Welsh Remembrancer, Adfywiadwr and of course glad to be an Heretic too?
