Of course upon arrest and detention in February 1969 I had the usual Mug Shot taken, something similar to the foto here, although I was much younger then. But perhaps not until now am I considering just how much of a mug I had been to swallow all that Welsh Nationalist bullshit! You know Cofia Tryweryn and all that stuff!

However, this is not the blog post to get totally critical and cynical about Welsh Nationalism, Welsh Cultural Nationalism in particular. All that and much more will be done to death on my blog postings through course of the year, up to 1 July 2009 and beyond.

Questions' in reflection that last week via a third party I was invited to participate in a TV Documentary already being made, of the John Humphries book 'Freedom Fighters'. However, my views and opinions were not called upon for the book so why should I bother to become media fodder for any TV interpretation of this book or whatever?.

Not least when most unfortunately, this book has left I and many other Patriots with a sour taste in our mouths regards the treatment by this Western Mail styled ''Expert'' on Welsh Resistance and our Adfywiad Gwladgarol 1963 - 69? none other than a former Editor and present writer of WM Saturday Supplement Gardening feature? Another 'Journo Johnie Come Lately' to Welsh Nationalist Struggle, this time more directly via the Welsh Independance Party which by all accounts he then went on to contribute to it's demise, leaving a sour taste in a number of patriotic mouths in those circles? The rights and wrongs of this however, I am not privy to having not been a member of the ''wippies'', as after experience of 'Y Cyfamodwyr' going ''Cream Cracker'', sadly any ''Alternative Welsh Nationalism'' had for me lost its appeal.

So much so that one would come to believe that therein is a deliberate attempt to demolish that ''Sixties Struggle'', in particular against the Investiture by diminishing the FWA and making nothing the radical role of the Patriotic Front and it's Anti - Investiture Campaign (further on in the book also marginalises Cofiwn). Suffice to say here and now that I shall not participate in making of this TV documentary, and would not only suggest that other Patriots involved in our 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol 1963 - 69 also not allow themselves to be used by the media. Today however, we have the web which we can use ourselves, via Websites an
d blogs, also of course we can use film via Video Streaming and use of such as Your Tube. So it's simply a case that we do not have to lend ourselves to the establishment media but can present our own history and present day struggle. Not worrying about how subject matter is selected or interviews are edited etc.

Whatever, that's enough on that subject as anyway I am writing a major review of 'Freedom Fighters' to be posted up in my Welsh Patriot Blog in June of this year. In the mean time, I must say that it's To Dream of Freedom published by Gwasg Lolfa which is still the best read on our ''Sixties Struggle''.

hder Cymru has gone and set up a FWA Appreciation Society on Face Book, what's he up to now? Whatever, I am thinking of setting up a FWA - Living History & Re-enactment Society. Look out for our stall at Eisteddfod yr Urdd in May and at the National Eisteddfod in August.

Further, we shall set up a stall in Caernarfon Castle over days of 1,2,3 & 4 July 2009, I believe Cambria, Ein Gwlad, Golwg and Barn Magazines et al are also seting up stalls too? Balchder Cymru will otherwise entertain with poses and posturing and Cymuned will give guided tours (yn Cymraeg) aound the 1911 & 1969 nvestiture exhibition.

Not least CyIG will spend the day painting out all Castle and exhibtion signs in English, now I am not being cynical but the four days of fun has been given the name 'STORM THE CASTLE FESTIVAL'.

Indeed you may include in such discussion and debate, in general has ''Right Wing'' Alternative Nationalism failed and faltered so much, it's now given up the ghost and is virtualy dead.

Quite Possible Carlo will open Hafod Eryri with William Wales in tow, following this they may make a visit to Caernarfon for a staged huge 'Welsh Welcome' for the next future English Prince of Wales.
