PWYSIG IAWN:
PLEASE AFTER READING EMAIL LINK THIS POST AND PASS IT ON TO OTHER PATRIOTS ASAP, Diolch yn Fawr.
.
A flag or shield turned upside down can mean death or defeat or both! If patriots now do not now arise, then they may as well surrender and accept defeat, that may not mean their death but as sure as night follows day, our patriotic cause as I have thought it to be is DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!
.
.
What am I talking about? quite simply it's this, well a number of matters really but lets just stick to three:
.
This year of 2009, marks the 600th anniversary of the fall of Castell Harlech, for some years Glyndwr's War Capital and place where he held two parliaments. Now what did CADW organise to commemorate the epic story of the siege of Castell Harlech, this is what they organised, see link on how not to mark an important Glyndwr Anniversary > http://www.cadw.wales.gov.uk/default.asp?id=21&NewsId=274 . Amazing but just for it's 25th Anniversary CONQUEST AND DEFEAT WALES awards itself, a Silver Medal and special potted Commemorative mugs from Ewenny Pottery.
.
NOW WHAT YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THAT, maybe protest left, right and centre to the media and not least to WAG and it's Plaid Minister of Heritage. Plus hopefully turn up at CADW birthday bash in Caerffili Castle in October later in year to DEMONSTRATE YOUR DISAPPROVAL! Or, maybe just roll over and surrender, stick your head between your knees and pretend none of this is happening?
.
Secondly: Re I'r Gad Welsh Battlefield Campaign, see below info and use it, do something asap in accordance with the info below and associated document you may down load.

News:
Wales-wide consultation on conservation principles launched22/07/2009A consultation document designed to provide a framework to guide Cadw in its approach to the management of the historic environment in Wales was launched at the Treftadaeth 2009 conference in Aberystwyth on 2 July. Conservation Principles, Policies and Guidance for the Sustainable Management of the Historic Environment in Wales recognizes the value and fragility of Wales’s unique historic environment and the need for its sustainable management. Although the document is primarily to guide Cadw in its work, it is also hoped that other organizations and individuals will make use of the proposed conservation principles in their decision-making.
The document adopts the headline principles recently developed by English Heritage following extensive consultation throughout the UK. However, in its own document, Cadw has attempted to adapt the explanatory paragraphs and the accompanying policy and guidance to suit particular Welsh circumstances.
The closing date for responses to the consultation is 30 October 2009. Any responses should be sent to Kaye Moxon, Cadw, Welsh Assembly Government, Plas Carew, Unit 5/7 Cefn Coed, Parc Nantgarw, Cardiff CF15 7QQ or kaye.moxon@wales.gsi.gov.uk The document is available to download from the Cadw website or alternatively hard copies are available on request.

Thirdly:
.
WAG via it's Plaid Minister of Heritage as published a:
The Welsh Historic Environment: Position Statement 2008.
.
This is a very detailed up to date report on all concerning our Welsh Heritage/Historic Environment in which I can find not a mention of Welsh Battlefields, although I admit I have had to scan read very quickly. So if you find Battlefields mentioned let me know in haste. What matters now, is has I keep stating nothing will get done re Welsh Battlefields unless you make an huge, and I do mean huge fuss.
.
Please note time is running out, the MofH Plaid AM Alum Ffred Jones is presenting his new Strategy on Welsh Historic Environment in Plenary Session at Welsh Assembly on 22 September. If there is no mention in this statement regards Welsh Battlefields, and their Registration thus preservation and protection and promotion. Then accept the fact, there never will be, it's fin! as a message or rather signal will be sent to Cadw & Co, don't do anything about Welsh Battlefields. Indeed don't worry a tot, as no one gives a damn! BUT DO YOU FELLOW PATRIOT? DO YOU? . If you do then now is the time to show it, today and tomorrow for as long as it takes, this is one battle we must win ok!
.
Now is the time to slip out of lethargy, get out of your compfort zone, and work up some anger and sweat on this issue. Do something! Anything that may help, even get down to Welsh Assembly on 22 September and picket protest on all the above matters. This it, do or die, so are you prepared to surrender and let CADW get away with a brazen 'two fingers' to Welsh Patriotism and to our country? Are you so pathetic, that you will not act on behalf of all those Welsh warriors who fought and died so you have a country, a culture and language. Well! What's it to be?
..
Gethin.
