I have spent most of my adult life infatuated with Welsh Medieval History and as an enthusiast have laboured away for years on medieval themes and initiatives as commemorations and memorials. This interest kicked off with the Patriotic Front making of Cilmeri Cenotaph a political platform, in particular from which to campaign against the 1969 Investiture of an Englishman as Prince of Wales (see my Alternative Welsh Nationalist Movement & Struggle Archive blog also my Cofiwn Archive blog). This 'Medievalism' is coming to a conclusion as I set sight on 2014 as my patriotic retirement year and with 2011 as deadline for finishing off any outstanding medieval Wales Initiatives and projects (see my blogs Urdd Brenhinol Cymru and I'r Gad Welsh Battlefields Campaign), such includes much related to 1282 and all that by 2011.

Rali Cilmeri, I had given up interest in following death of Toni Lewis and only returned to the 'Sacred Acre' to pay tribute to Toni's memory. it is now necessary for me to return this year to, all too sadly make similar tribute to Glyn Rowlands. The wolves illustrating this post are also in tribute to compatriot Glyn Rowlands known widely as the Lone Wolf of Corris, the tribute to be made will include the rising up of an heraldic Lone Wolf flag, this I have already made for the occasion as shown in foto at top of post. I shall be making this personal tribute at 12: 00 noon on Saturday 12 December 2009 prior to any other Patriotic gathering, or commemorationthat may be organised that afternoon which I shall not be attending.

The last patriotic political act that Glyn carried out this year was to be interviewed at Caernarfon Castle for a TV documentary on the 1969 Investiture. Glyn as a true Adfywiadwr Gwladgarol had remained radically in Resistance to Investitures of English Princes of Wales and stated so in this interview. It would be thus appropriate for Patriots to be mindful of this and themselves express in their speeches at Rali Cilmeri 2009 a reaffirmation of belief that it is better for patriots not to petition passively but to radically continue to protest against the holding of a third Investiture in Caernarfon.
.
Now that Aberedw is being more and more accepted as the true historical site where Llywelyn III was killed, I have no problem with the Cilmeri Cenotaph continuing being more the political platform whilst Aberedw and Abaty Cwm Hir focuses on historical commemoration. Although I consider Cilmeri's 'Sacred Acre' to have become somewhat a failed 'Field of Dreams' as far as retaining any resemblance of continuing radical nationalist Resistance to English Royalty and princes and their Caernarfon Investitures. That is as long as the mediocre and moderate minded confused patriots meander there annually to no good purpose, other than distract attention away from getting off the fence and preparing patriots to arise in struggle against Investiture III. But who will be left to do this, now that those with guts are fading away, yes indeed! who? Not me that's for sure, after this year I have reached my 'End Game' re this English Princes business, that really should be of priority concern as an issue to Gwladgarwyr Gwynedd and not Southerners.

We shall soon see, if there is any fight left in 'Y Cilmeriaid', or has everyone become a fence sitter or run away farcical Republican Renegade? We shall see if Rali Cilmeri 2009 manages to turn matters around and attempts to awake and rise up patriots who seem to have 'lost the plot' to protest not petition against any third Investiture of an Englishman as Prince of Wales.
