.On the 24 April 1284 Eleanor the wife of Edward I, it is said give birth to a baby boy in Caernarfon Castle and so it is said, a few days later, maybe 27 April? presented this new born son to the people of Gwynedd who cheered wildly in their acceptance of the first English Prince of Wales. Centuries later Edward VIII in 1911 was also similarly accepted and again in 1969 'Carlo' the 26th English Prince of Wales was similarly and, I guess William Wales will be similarly accepted and cheered by pobl Caernarfon, Gwynedd and Cymru in the possibly not too distant future? More possibly so now, after the way pobl Gwynedd/Caernarfon welcomed Elizabeth II the English Queen on 27 April 2010. This is why I part covered the Clmeri Cenotaph with a black shroud and displayed Baner Llywelyn III/Gwynedd up side down - a medieval method of signaling surrender and death. As 'Caernarfon 27 - 04 - 2010' symbolically stated to Wales and World, the self surrender again of our National Sovereignty - 'SURRENDER OF SOVEREIGNTY' and DEATH of STRUGGLE TO SAVE IT! is that the awful truth and reality of Caernarfon 27 - 04 - 2010? yes! I said it again? and will go on reminding as possibly the 'last man standing' in pro active radical opposition to English Princes of Wales, no matter how lonely it is to be doing so?

The pictures above and below reminds of Patriotic Failiure, despite much Cofia 1282 annually at Rali Cilmeri and despite Gwynedd being the Cymric Heartland and medieval Bastion of Welsh Independance and, after 27 - 04 - 2010 that could be contested as being so today, in fact that was proved the case in 1911. Rural Liberal Wales, not least 'Cultural Nationalist Gwynedd' in both 1911 and 1969 supported both Investitures. In both those years it was in the main the 'Socialist South' that was the most outspoken against the Coronation and Investiture of those two dark years in our history and, possibly history will be repeated regards the next time around with INVESTITURE III unless 'Gwadgarwyr Gwynedd' get their 'ACT TOGETHER' very fast!

The Question begs to be asked where were
Nationalists of Gwynedd, indeed where were the 'Cultural Nationalists'. Indeed, Welsh Nationalists of any description. This is excusing no one but it's a fact we got to face, quite simply 'Y Crachach Cymraeg' and 'Plant Crachach' are well stuffed with 'Saxon Silver', so they are hardly going to risk a continuing supply of the ''Good Stuff'', not least because their grant supported life styles could be threatened re the 'Economic Cuts' ahead post BGE 2010. Then there are the students, well they do not protest very much these days, they have loans to pay back one day but 'what the hell, lets go and piss it up on Ibiza! The vast majority of Welsh People are employed in local government and public service and cannot risk being seen taking day off and protesting against the English Queen (I was sacked once after a protest against Investiture'69 but I was young and foolish plus it was the ''sixties'') . As for the masses, too busy into consumerism (Greeks riot and all 'Brits' just seek solutions in Retail Therapy Parks?) and celebritism, that's why they were crowding around Liz II in hope they would get seen on the TV I dare say. Whatever, still one would have thought that in the 'hot bed' of Welsh Nationalism, well 'Cultural Nationalism' there might have been a little more gutsy reaction" Thus so much for Wylit! Wylit!, looks as if one can Wylit! until the gows come home and it ain't going to reach the ears of patriots ducking and diving as they run for cover behind a dry stone wall?

28 - 04 - 2010 -THE DAY AFTER - THE CILMERI CENOTAPH - SOME POINTED AND BARBED CRITICISM! Am thinking! not too seriously mind you of returning to this now, less than 'Sacred Acre' as it once was 'Back in the Day' on 11 - 12 - 2010 to completly put the Cenotaph under a BLACK SHROUD'. Not only that but, lock the gate to the Cenotaph and stand there chained to the gate with a placard bearing the message stating 'Go Home' or go to PRYSGDUON and seek PATRIOTIC REDEMPTION? No! I would'nt do that....would I? WAIT AND SEE? It is after all a P.F. Anniversary event!!

...The Black Shroud speaks for itself but note I have not completly covered the Cilmeri Memorial but if there are no protests demonstrations as propsed below, then each year I wll return to raise the shroud a little higher maybe untill the memorial is completly covered. To stop that, then just get the guts to annually blockade Caernarfon Castle annually on and about 1st July. Pityful! Pityful! Pityful! How certain people will have the nerve to turn up at this or any future Rali Clmeri after 'Caernarfon 27 - 04 - 2004' this will be a sight to see but would truly make me want to throw up!!! I want be returning to Cilmeri and doing that, as it seems I have now my own personal 'Curse of Cilmeri', whilst clambering about at Cilmeri 2009 setting up the remembrance crosses etc I done something to my foot? Betime I got down to Builth it was really hurting, very painfully so. But within days my foot appeared alright again though I suffered from time to time slight painful twinges, including at home but, otherwise it had not been as bad as at aforementioned Cilmeri outing. For much of time since it had not been too bad as long as it seems, I did not do too much walking about! Then the weather turned better and, I started to walk about much more especially when I returned to Wales to do some 'on ground' location research? After which great pain returned, I of course then went to the Docters and she could not come up with an answer after a few minutes of twisting my foot about, so I was told to try cushioned insoles and, prescribed anti inflamatory pain killer pills. However, since I have had two episodes of serious painful incidents re this now pretty ''gammy foot'', the one when I visited my daughter and took my grandson to the pictures and made a short walk around Caerdydd. Betime we headed for home I was using my grandson as a crutch, next day I met a freind in Caerdydd and not even having walked much that day and, the foot was playing up a great deal again. This occurred again recently at my latest visit to Cilmeri, so much so I had to return to Caerdydd and eventually head home abandoning much of the research work I had intended doing in central Wales over a few days this week. So, yes another visit to the 'Docs' is on the card and no more taking aboard doing very much about the Patriotic Failiure of 27 - 04 - 2010, I am throwing in the towel! Let others be bothered about 'wageing war' on Investitures of English Princes of Wales. I will leave it to 'Gwladgarwyr Gwynedd' as their problem! Ending now! a forty odd years ''Obsession'' perhaps. I should have been an actor, quite like this open air theatre, we also filmed the below complete with really acusational 'abusive speech', not against the English Royals but against the 'Cymric Cowards' who did not make a patriotic stand in Caernarfon on the 27 - 04 - 2010. It's not likly the 'Devolution Dilletante' distractors will do so? so how's about the ''Good Ole Boys'', I wonder if they are still up for any action other than raising up pints of beer at Tafarn Llywelyn once a year? This suggestion is not a cynical slight of B.C. as I have further ideas re the potential of Prysgduon in mind, do not want say what in this blog right now, will save it until I have discussed it with B.C. and made them the first offer to carry out what I have in mind? If I have any more to say on this 2011 Patriotic Initiative it will be in my Adfywiad Cilmeri blog. Another task I had set myself this week was to visit sites associated with the English Royalty in mid Wales, I was particularly interested in that associated with previous English Royal Jubilee celebrations. In particular, I know there is a plaque on Dolau Railway station platform on the Swansea - Shrewsbury line, I have seen it from the train and fancied having a foto for my archive. This Dolau plaque commemorates the time and place where Elizabeth II got off the train on her 2002 Golden Jubillee tour of Wales. As for myself, yes! I shall forget 1282 and all that, Inc Rali Cilmeri as I feel Patriots have 'lost the plot' as far as that place is concerned. Anyway, all that history may now be best served if Patriots jumped on the Cadw 'Native Welsh Princes' Initiatives (see Cadw website) and grab some grants to fund their own associated ideas/projects before 'Y Crachach' do?
