PATRIOTS ARE YOU MOBALISED YET? ARE YOU GETTING READY TO ASSEMBLE AT VYRNWY OVER ABH TO PROTEST AGAINST CHEQUE BOOK CONQUEST & COLONIALISM?

.
Remember, I cannot make it for verity of reason as first off, I think rural 'Cultural Nationalists' should have first option of mounting protest action as after all it is in their 'Back Yard' so to speak. Very much a matter of 'Dal dy Dir' aka 'Hold The Land', I would have though a matter of great concern for CYMUNED and they and Llais Gwynedd have been so invited to get stuck in. As for Plaid Cymru and CyIG, I doubt if they would be much interested, but that does not exclude individual members and supporters. I am being practical here, these rural Cultural Nationalists have the rural presence and organisation plus in this first instance such August Bank Holiday Action may be done under a 'Language, Land and Liberty' Campaign Banner. Rural Cultural Nationalists being of more concern regards rural language issues where as I am for the most part concerned with Socio - Economic issues of the long history of Conquest by the Anglo - Norman 'Conquistadores' also Tudor Land expropriation and later Capitalist Exploitation of our land and it's natural resources. Down to our own 'Living Memory' times of Land expropriation by the Reservior Builders, Reserviour Builders and Forestry Commission etc.
.
Now we have looming large over Wales the great threat of an even more aggressive Cheque Book Conquest and Colonisation in many self interests as tourism and 'Saislebensraum' increasingly brought about by 'White Flighters' and those 'English Economic Refugees' fleeing the rising Socio - Economic demise and decay of many of Englands Communities. All of which contributes to, in Wales Ethnic Cleansing by Depopulation by forced outward Economically motivated Emmigration of unemployed native population. These are major issues that Plaid Cymru and indeed all the three main 'Language Movements' are avoiding, so obvious they fear having their hands slapped and bums kicked as last time they raised issue of Mewnlifiad. Why the hell Rural Activists should worry about what the English Media and lickspittal Welsh Media says when their 'Cymric Heartlands' are dieing, I don't know but it's a shame! Not least when it all looked as if Cymuned had the answer and was really up for dealing with defence of 'Hen Tiroedd Cunedda' - Our Cymric Heartland:

Those were the days, but who knows we might see a Radical Rural Revival at Vyrnwy over the August Bank Holiday. If not then Embassy Glyndwr's 'Tarian Glyndwr' campaign might just make it happen!

.
Whatever, Don't panic too much over my calls for Land Occupation etc, I can get carried away with myself! Remember much regards the Vyrnwy Estate as free access with public foot paths and rambler trails, so you are quite within your rights to use and walk around with flags and protest placards. Not least the Sculptue Park is an open 'Public Area' and you could do what you like here within the law, bye laws and restrictions imposed by the Severn Trent Authourity. See blog below:

Below from above, note highlights:
.

RESIDENTS of Llanwddyn gathered this week to raise their concerns about the sale of the Lake Vyrnwy Estate.

Approximately 70 people attended a public meeting at Llanwddyn Community Centre to discuss Severn Trent Water’s £11 million sale of the 23,000 acre estate.

Unfortunately representatives from Severn Trent and Knight Frank, the property consultants, did not attend the meeting to answer questions raised, despite both parties being invited.

County Councillor Simon Baynes, who chaired the meeting, said: “We have gathered the thoughts of the people and listened to their concerns, and now we (himself and Llanwddyn Community Council) will do our best to get some answers before our next meeting on Tuesday, August 31.

I am very disappointed that no-one from Severn Trent or Knight Frank attended the meeting, but I will invite them again to the next one in the hope they will come and deliver some important answers. ''

The land around Lake Vyrnwy is being split up into four lots, which are being sold on a 125-year lease.

The land being sold includes farms, nature reserves and people’s homes.

The largest parcel of land includes 12,000 acres farmed jointly with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).

Lewis James, from the RSPB, warned people not to expect a quick sale: “We understand that Severn Trent has to go through a consultation process, led by the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) and approved by the First Minister Carwyn Jones.

"This could take three months to complete at the least.”

He added: “From an RSPB point of view we are very committed to this area and we don’t think it is right that the estate is dispensed of on the open market, we think it needs to be taken control of by someone who will take into account the thoughts of everyone and everything.”

He also confirmed that the RSPB would be interested in purchasing the estate but cannot afford it.

Mike Duggleby, a former manager of the estate between 1979 and 1996, said: “We would like 10 per cent back from the £11 million and I think it should be one of the fundamental duties that there is a substantial investment to the area.”

The house of postmistress Audrey Jones is one of those up for sale with the estate.

She said there was only one topic of conversation in the village at the moment.

She said: “Nobody knows what’s happening, do they? I had a meeting with them.

“I was just told that it wouldn’t make any odds to me because I rent my house and I’m not on a short lease.”

Gwyndaf Richards, clerk to the community council, said: “There’s an element of anxiety, obviously.

“Most of the people in this community are affected by how Severn Trent is managed because they are the only owners in this area.

“There are quite a number of people who rent farms here and rent residential properties and they wonder about the level of rent the new owners will require.”

Neil Bale, of the Lake Vyrnwy Marketing Association, asked how a buyer will be chosen - would it be the highest bidder or the best buyer.

A spokesperson from an online campaign that has been launched with the aim of a million people buying £10 shares of the estate to ensure public access was also present at the meeting.

The next public meeting about the future of the estate will be held at Llanwddyn Community Council on Tuesday, August 12. Another meeting will be held on September 27.

.

The above should give you some ideas as what to as a letter Campaign to Severn Trent, Knight Frank and Carwyn Jones at WAG. Plus of course politicians and Councillors, not least all media forms. That should keep you busy and out of trouble for now?

.
Well, what more can I do, you can take an horse to water but you cannot make it drink? Whatever, I shall make my pro - active contribution with 'Pobl Ysbryd Cofiwn' in September. Keep in mind biding is in the Autumn, thus really we want to step up all Wales Protests throughout Mis Medi - 'A Month of Action' possibly concluding with a rally in support of local community on or about 27 September 2010. That's a Monday so maybe hold a 'Hands Off Vyrnwy' Rally on Saturday 25 September, time enough fot 100's of Patriots to organise themselves, all and everyone to Llanwddyn followed by march to the Vyrnwy Sculpture Park as conclusion?

Have you noticed that when the Tour de France goes thru 'Gwald Yr Basg' on French side, that Basque Patriots line the route with Basque Flags and protest placards, they even daub the roads with slogans. The above Car Rally passing thru Ardal Efynwy provdes opportunity for similar protest activity regards our Vyrnwy Land and Liberty Campaign.
