After all if Cambria Band is booked then expect BC to be in tow, they are more or less a 'package' but were obviously left out of the lord Mayor of Chesters Parade and Cambria Mags Dewi Day Marching in Caerdydd where once before a White Eagle Flag was spotted. This to did leadl o a letter condemning such in the Western Mail and later denial from parade organisers. Suprise! Suprise White Eagle Flag never seen on this parade again despite organisers being right wing Welsh Nationalists. Wonder why? Photo below an early Dydd Dewi Parade when Cambria Magazine Organisers needed Nationalists to be on the march and were happy for them to be up front before they convinced DET to get in on the act.
If I had attended the Llanelli 1911 Commemoration it would have been with my 1831 and Red Pitchfork Flags along with 'Trech Gwlad Nag Arglwydd' Baner and not a Baner Glyndwr nor White Eagle Flag. I have no problem with the Glyndwr flag but unfortunatly the White Eagle Cross has become quite a meaningless symbol of any continuing Welsh Resistance and I much prefer to use the Red Pitchfork these days. Thus at my protest in Machynlleth I did chose to carry that as a protest flag and not my White Eagle Flag which I never regarded as just and FWA symbol but rather as a 'Symbol of Welsh Resistance'. However, since Balchder Cymru has adopted the White Eagle Cross has their badge and they have every right to do so, why not? For this reason and reason that sadly patriotic radicalism these days is more about posing and parading as are the example given to us again by Balchder Cymru per usual, that is if they are not fleeing to their tents.
So what was up at Llanelli 1911 Commemoration to cause Rhydian to get into a 'Red Rage', about to be made more 'Angry Red' by reply of Clem Thomas in this weeks Llanelli Star. Welsh Left note, perhaps my version of the 'Starry Plough' is more preferrable to the 'Hammer and Sickle'. Rhydian would certainly blow a fuse when he becomes aware as he will because I am making the reality of his complaints made more large here in this blog, not just to stirr but to stimulate discussion and debate, not too far away from Plaid Cymru conference too. Rhydian, you were not just marching behind a so called FWA Baner but also out in front leading the way was Baner Glyndwr, the flag of an old 'Aristocratic Cymru Rhydd' that became a 'failed nation'. I have no problem with that as after all Glyndwr was a good 'rebel' also he liberated the serfs. Thus for many Welsh Nationalists this flag is a far better alternative to the 'Tudor' Draig Goch and the 'Anglican' Baner Dewi.

Behind that Baner Glyndwr marched the Cambrian 'Scots' Band led by John Jenkins, he of MAC 'Freedom Fighter' fame and then the Cambria Band was made up of many Balchder Cymru members, inc it's founder and one time leading light Adam Phillips seen below at Gwyl Glyndwr 2004. Then in his more militant black beret and dark glasses days of the flopped Mudiad Rhyddhad Cymru brain storm by a few 'Pathetic Fringers' of a dieing Alternative Nationalism. Behind they a number of BC followers with assorted 'Nationalist Flags' inc the BC 'Muppet Style' Lion and Dragon along White Eagle Cross banner. Then all the assorted left, inc Labour Party, various CP's, assorted left and Trade Union Representation along with guest speaker Bob Crow RMT leader. None of whom would have been very happy with that arrangement and order of march priorities.
So what's the problem? mainly BC, be warned watch these 'Characters', in main because they are rubbish as rebels go. They like to present this right rebel image of themselves with patriotic rallies at Abergele, Treweryn and Cilmeri also commemorations at graves of Denis Coslett and Cayo Evans and now Llanelli 1911 Commemoration. They love to glory in the sacrifice and martyrdom of the past but when push comes to shove they run as in recent times in failiure to fight against Brit Royal Brain Washing, twice! Your not likly to see they despite all their 'Gung Ho' big talk in action against the great land grab at Vyrnwy nor against the Windmill Masters ripping off our land, not least close to they in 'Y Perfeddwlad'. They are good at posing, parading and petitioning and now being particularly active in opposition to 'Afordable Housing' aka new Colonial Settlements in rural Cymru and opposing Cheshire 'Annexing' Fflintshire the BC heartland. All very well but not exactly the basis of a National Liberation Struggle as first envisaged by those who established BC, Red Dragon Movement and Eryr Gwyn/Cymru 1400 that then took shape for a little while as Mudiad Rhyddhad Cymru much influenced by their co-founder leader FWA Commandant Denis Coslett (RIP). However, my personal and political dislike of BC not quite aside yet. Personally, having had physically threatening and abusive 'anonymous' emails from within the, I am of little doubt BC circles I am not thinking much of their mentality. Politically, what more can be said where they do not hang themselves with their own petard as essentially no more than 'Super Patriots' and certainly 'Crachach Fodder' and Cultural Nationalist Camp Followers. Many of their members are 'Fighters for Fflintshire' whose minds are for most part focused firmly in main on 'Mewnlifiad Matters' that threaten to assimilate Wrecsam and much of North East Wales and eventually on into Gwynedd. Nothing wrong with that but myself think that Adam needs to stick with this, ditch BC, Battlefield Society and Celtic League, not now along with the Cambria Band meddle in other parts of Cymru/Wales deciding whether or not to flaunt BC with all the paraphenalia of his 'Super Patriot' stuff. It does not go unnoticed that back home in Fflintshire Adam is squeaky clean Mr Cambria Band and not an FWA Flag or BC banner in sight as often as not. Though if at Cilmeri and Machynlleth and now Llanelli Riots Commemoration out comes his 'Mr Hyde' or is that 'Walter Mitty' side and, back to full on BC bullshit. Although, these days he seems to be via Russel G. Morris of Plaid Cymru Skewen to be nuetralising/castrating BC and cosying up to Plaid Cymru (Wonder what Denis and Paul thinks of that?). Maybe Adam via the North Wales Peoples Council/Deffro'r Ddraig, Cymuned and CyIG also Plaid Wrecsam has ambitions of one day standing as a potential Plaid Candidate to the 'Assembly of Appeasement' in Bae Caerdydd. If such be the case, I suggest Adam quits BC whilst he might still get ahead in the 'Official/Failed' Nationalist Patriot Game. But his compatriots need to fully realise now the lad and others as Russell are essentially as long as they associate with Plaid Cymru and flirt with Y Crachach Newydd 'Cultural Nationalism' are 'Counter Revolutionaries' and 'Bradwyr' as time will show clearly. Certainly they are not 'republican' nor 'socialist' as they often make out, that's for sure. Whatever, the below is A-OK as far as I am concerned but personally, if I was offered my ancestral homeland 'Ergyng' in a swap with England for Fflintshire then I would take 'Ergyng' and England can have Fflintshire and Adam too, he works in Chester Post office anyway, so I am told?

On the whole BC could serve a useful purpose but the main problem they got is Adam and Paul who wish they had been born in the 'sixties', been in the FWA with their heroes Coslett and Cayo doubt if they would have made MAC. Adam without doubt his a 'Walter Mitty' and in the last decade as it appears to me attracted other Welsh 'Walter Mitty' types around him into BC along with at least two or three WECTU Agents who no doubt flatter him and push him on to persue his wildest Face Book Playstation Fantasies. However, I have the feeling now that either Adam has had a warning from his Post Offices bosses quit the 'Nash Nonsense' or he's grown up or he's really finding Cambria Band the better option what with the 'fans' and the money? Whatever, it's got to be said about Adam that I have no doubt he is a genuine enough a patriot and a very personable guy plus he does do a lot of good Nationalist Work as his annual Hope Glyndwr Rally. Plus a number of BC members do useful stuff but then there are the 'Bone Heads' who believe the FWA still exists or would like it to, god forbid they ever try to ressurect from the grave of history. Whatever, think now it's time he called it a day on BC or get someone Patriotically Politically sound into BC to think for you and advise you as former Cyfamodwyr 'Jac a Geoff', even though a Right Wing Nationalist 'Swansea Jack' has political brains and a sound patriotic mind which I even agree with from time to time.
