If you failed to visit or commemorate the Madog Revolt and Southerners could have done so at any number of Castles as Morlais near Merthyr and Kenfig near Aberafan/Port Talbot also out west the Castle of New Castle Emlyn. Patriots really need to give this Rebellion much more attention as they do of Llywelyn III, Cilmeri and 1282 to show that 1282 was not an end but a beginning with continuing Welsh Resistance on numerous occaisions as in 1294 and not least regards the Llywelyn Bren Revolt of 1315 - 16. Do note anniversary of his surrender in Ystrad Felte, do go there on or about 18 March 1316 and commemorate and place floral tributes in memory of those who fought and died against the tyrrany of the English King and his Robber Barons 'Conquistadores'.

Back To Our Times, and our 'Peasant' or rather Patriotic Revolt - the June 2012 Cymru'n Codi/Welsh Rising? I am promoting an Easter Campaign on Stryveland focusing on 'rights of way' across Mynydd y Betws, we need to know how many of the public 'Ways', footpaths and Bridle Paths are being fenced of my the Windmill Plantation Works. Please, go out over Easter and travel a 'Way' or 'Foot Path' and let me know your findings, detailed with photos please. At same time carry out actions leave Posters or Black Ribbons on any Fences blocking public access, this is a very important part of our campaign and unfortunatly I cannot myself contribute to the Easter Campaign so am relying on other Patriots as Balchder Cymru have adopted to walk accross the Mountain/Windmill Plantation via Garnant to Banc Cwnhelen to Banc Bryn to Tresgyrch Fawr. also a new 'Hosts of Rebecca' campaign group from the West are taking on the Gower Way, see blog link below:
