This thesis above, I have not had time to properly read and digest, but the info on the 1911 Investiture is excellent. I do not know who this Owain Llyr ap Gareth, is but as far as his 1969 account is concerned he's left a lot to be desired in his bulling up of CyIG as the main protagonists. However, no doubt he was out to censor out of history the popular radical 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' struggle against the Investiture, obviously pushing all the 'Crachach Correct' buttons will get you nice cosy and compfy jobs, see below. So, if like me you think Owain has gone off the patriotic point, don't write to me about it, just drop him a letter at the address below C/O The Electoral Reform Society, which tells me that Owain is more a 'Reformist' that a 'Radical' or 'Revolutionary'. However, despite all his nods to communist philosophers and heavy duty thinks on Post Colonialism, it's obvious where Owain's heart is, yes playing safe!!!
