.......Unfortunatly it's Winston Churchill and being 1910, the Tonypandy Riots 100th Anniversary (See my Red Remembrancer blog) it's too bad W.C. is on the front cover but it's the contents that count and, after all it is 'Dunkirk Remembrance Weekend'. So, to the contents, much good therein but I suggest Nationalists take a close look at Chapters 3 and Chapter 4 in particular. Note in Chapter 3: Patrick Henry's,'Give me Liberty, or give me death!'. In Chapter 4: read Chief Red Jacket's 'You have got our Country'. Also read Chief Joseph's, 'I will fight no more forever' flicking over quickly Giuseppe Garibaldi's, 'To arms, all - all of you!'. I shall say no more on he, or I will get into touble again but seriouly folks! I mean it when I say 'Wales is worth living for' but 'not dieing for', that's for sure! certainly not whilst 'Y Crachach Newydd' fill their pockets for doing much, much less for Cymru and whilst in this area of focus, do remember W.C. aside it was a Welsh Coal Owner that the Miners were opposed by and, was it a Welsh Judge who jailed the 'Rioters?' There's another great book to read, 'Great Irish Speeches' I do'nt think we are ready yet in Wales to publish a book called 'Great Welsh Speeches'. However, you could change all that by getting really stroppy over this 'No Referendum' double dealing but more importantly, get up and at it, then we might here some Welsh Fighting Talk when the Welsh begin to Fight Back! Went to see the new Robin Hood film the othr day, great stuff! particularly liked the bit about the 'motto' on the Sword 'Rise! Rise! and Lambs will become Lions' HHHhhhmmm!!!! in the present Welsh Nationalist state of play perhaps that should read > 'Lay down! Lay down! and Lions will become Lambs'. Whatever, rush out and get the book, I bought mine discounted in a 'Works Shop' or try the library. Might just inspire some real fighting Welsh Nationalist leadership that will make all Welsh Patriots aspire to get into 'Action for Wales', like yesterday!

Of course that bit about 'Lions becoming Lambs' does not exactly fit with the Welsh Nationalist image of all being ready for Owain Glyndwr to return one day, myself unless Welsh Nationalists get a bit more 'Gumption and Guts' plus Commitment, then I guess Owain Glyndwr will never return. This in mind, this weekend, I shall post my final appeal for an O.T.T. radical referendum reaction not as Garibaldi 'To Arms!' but something more peaceful but still more DYNAMIC! than what we get out of Plaid Cymru right now?

By way where are the Plaid's three Revolutionary 'Femmes Fatales'; Jill, Leanne and Bethan (gone to Gaza maybe?), they are very quite on this issue of Referendum matter and Independance Issue. Would have thought, indeed hoped one of they had become a 'Welsh Bernadette Develin' by now? Adam Price had the makings of a great radical leader but he's pushed off to America, just when we need him most. However, the new Plaid MP Johnathan Edwards appears to me made of the 'Right Stuff!' and somewhat a Radical Nationalist in footstep of Adam Price.

Meanwhile where are the 'Cambrainistas' as Robert Hinton, Sion Jobbins & Miec Stephens et al, not least their 'Mouth Piece' ex W.M. man Clive Betts plus of course their leader, hard case 'Right Wing' Welsh Nationalist Henry Jones Davies. All very quite down Nant Garedig way, maybe though they are busy getting organised for 'Carlo's' annual visit down that way. Of course, I forgot they might be getting ready to repeat their Cardiff 'Dewi Day' parading success with similar march on and around Caernarfon to protest against another Investiture of another English Prince of Wales, yes! I am sure they are? Remember the date, how could you forget, that's 1 July or there abouts ok!

To make things fast and easy for patriots wishing to be dynamically active, I shall over this weekend start posting up some of my Agit - Prop Art Work for posters etc regards Welsh Independence on my GALERI GETHIN blog. Down load and copy off loads and use as wished and you do not even have to credit source just get on with it asap, like yesterday? For confidence building regards making speeches aka 'Fighting Talk' go out and watch & listen to the Christian Evangelists on their Soap Boxes. My Mam (when a young girl) has told me that her dad, a radical miner would take her out to a park in Merthyr Tudful to listen to political orators. After that Mam and her mates would go to the bandstand and suck lemons in front of the bugle players, can you guess what happened? Yes! the kids were chased away, those were the days!!!

Poor Mam, now 88 very much lives back in those days in Merthyr Tudful. Guess what? despite the times being very hard growing up in the years between two World Wars she remembers much with out complaint, even though her dad when she was 16 and going out, he would tell her ''be back at nine'' and for sure he would be waiting for her at the front door. If she did not show, he would be off looking for her, yes! those were the days, I guess fathers today might hanker after, worrying about their daughters in these desperate and deadly times?

I think that short trip down 'memory lane' was arising in my mind to remind me of my 'Working Class' roots which leads me to stress that the Independent Wales I wish to see established, is a Wales as James Connolly wished for Ireland, FREE! BUT SOCIALIST FREE! Thus, whilst I might use Owain Glyndwr and Sofraniaeth as means to immediate action and and short term ends, long term I have politically in mind the demise of Plaid Cymru and the real radicals of that party joining with radical remnants of 'Left of Centre' progressives of the Liberal Party and old/new Labour join together. Then to establish a Popular Progressive Front similar perhaps to the U.D.B. in Brittany, see The Welsh Patriot blog for more in this direction of thinking.
