In The Beginning: It was in the 'Sixties' that Toni Lewis RIP attended a Plaid Cymru Summer School in Machynlleth at which Harri Webb RIP gave a talk on Owain Glyndwr. Toni taped this talk and it was via this recording that I heard the talk and like Toni became greatly inspired and patriotically motivated. However, rather ironically Harri Webb RIP a former Welsh Republican was to show a further fondess for the native Welsh Princes when he and Socialist Progressive Plaid Cymru activist Emrys Roberts launched their 'New Nation' Journal at the Cilmeri Cenotaph. In the following year Toni and I were moved to establish the first Rali Cilmeri, the rest is history, see my Alternative Welsh Nationalist Movement & Struggle Archive blog.

.In 2004 Embassy Glyndwr organised a major commemoration of 21 June 1404 'Dydd y Senedd' aka 'Dydd y Coroni Glyndwr', at which an immaginative replica of 'Coron Glyndwr' was presented to the town of Machynlleth to be in the care of Cefn Caer on understanding that annually on or about 21 June the Crown made by Toni Lewis RIP would be publically revealed in ceremony to the town, Wales and the World.
