CADW 25th ANNIVERSARY of Shoving Shakespeare Down Welsh Throats.

.

.
The above says it all, why not print out and photo copy enlarge to A4 size as a paste up poster and to A3 size for use as a protest placard for use, as and when you go and picket CADW Castle Shakespeare Events, go on check out their brochures and see how much Shakespeare is shipped in or worse put on by Welsh Theatre Companies. Whatever, it's all Cerebral Colonialism, and if it's for tourists what must they think? that we have got nothing worth while to entertain them with, or maybe they just think they are in 'Shakespeare Country'. Is this the so called 'Sense of Place' that WAG & VW go on about, if it is then they must be pig ignorant as to what Welsh Heritage truly is, or they are the agents of Cerebral Colonialism, that's more than likely is the truth. Now time Patriots did something about it, get out there and protest, I suggest make this the Summer, the Summer when we say 'SHAKESPEARE SHOVE OFF OK!!!'
.
Note
Don't waste your ink, down load the B&W version and add a little colour with a felt tip pen.

LAND & LIBERTY: A Welsh Anti - Colonial Movement, this is what we need?

.

I had been pondering and working on an idea regards a new Patriotic Political initiative, along lines of a 'Land & Liberty' Movement. I for a long time had been thinking on matters of land ownership, mindful of campaigns in Ireland as 'Who Owns Ireland' and Anti - Cheque Book Conquest campaigns. All of which I became aware of when I lived in Ireland, upon my return to Wales I did participate in development of a movement 'Mudiad y Werin' which was concerned with similar issues.
.
My interest was renewed in such direction when I returned to a study of Rhyfel y Sais Bach 1826, and I am still researching in this land ownership area, past and present. But it was recently reading material by Swansea Cllr Ioan Richards on subject of the Duke of Beaufort, and his ownership of Land in Wales which prompted me to further consider the aforementioned 'Land & Liberty' initiative, see below links for further information on the Duke of Beaufort:

.
Recently my attention was captured by a new body in North Eastern Wales, a 'Peoples Council', see link following link:
http://www.righttobewelsh.com/ this is the best thing, politically I have come across in years. Not only do I congratulate those behind this excellent initiative but I urge one and all to support them in their efforts and endeavours to defend the North Eastern March from further English Colonialism. Indeed I would suggest that patriots give some priority consideration to establish such 'Peoples Councils' throughout our Eastern March, in Powys and down into the border areas of Gwent or as part of it is now known ''Monmouthshire'' in particular. I resist consideration of same in pura Wallia aka 'Tiroedd Cunedda' due to existence of Cymuned in this region, although possibly the South Western March, not least ''Pembs'' might be in need of a broad based 'Peoples Council' and all an eventual Anti - Colonial Struggle.
.
Essentially, that marks out all of old Marcher Walliae as requiring the setting up of 'Peoples Councils' which I see as first steps towards establishing a Welsh 'PEOPLES ANTI - COLONIAL MOVEMENT'. Although, I would not encourage a rush to such end, indeed I would feel it appropriate first to get Brit and Assembly elections out of the way, and a referendum on a Welsh Parliament out of the way too! So some time to give good consideration to a great deal and not least keep eye on how the North East March 'Peoples Council' gets on.
.
To add further ingredients to the mix, I draw every ones attention to the below, this idea of a TARIAN CYMRU was put forward in a pamphlet issued at an Eisteddfod Abertawe, not so far back. I do not know why but nothing came of the idea which I also thought was excellent, perhaps it got no where because WIP was still in business at this time. Whatever, in association with all I have said above, I hope the below is reconsidered too (as well do search on web for an Owain Glyndwr Communicates post entitled 'Defending Heritage in the Landscape).
.

.
Anyway, some food for thought!

ARE ALL THE WELSH POLITICAL PARTIES GOING TO MEET IN THE MIDDLE, if so, what then the Left? Never mind the right, they will all be in the centre too.

.
The 'One Wales' Assembly coalition between PLAID and Labour appears to be working well, does this make possible a future new Welsh progressive political alliance of left of centre 'Devolution Democrats', certainly much may be up for change following 2010 BGE and 2011 Assembly Elections. If Labour in Wales goes into free fall and PLAID remains static but Tories and UKIP advance, does that leave the Welsh Progressive Left an only option of closer political links? Maybe we have the makings here of a possible future WELSH DEMOCRATIC UNION, similar to the UDB in Brittany, perhaps that's no bad thing, if it keeps the Welsh Tories held back from control of the Assembly. What then the Welsh Liberal Democrats?
.
Of course the flies in the ointment are the LABOUR UNIONISTS led by their London Loving MPs but then it seems to me that PLAID Adam Price MP is not exactly helping matters by talking up possible coalition deals with Tories and no doubt with Liberals. HHHhhhmmm!!!! That would hardly bring about a Welsh version of the UDB would it? all this ''mix & match'' progressive politics, at end of day would have to consider priorities, as to best way forward toward a proper Welsh Parliament? If Labour and Plaid go head to head in a British General or an Assembly election, and that let the Tories back into power in England/Britain, or advance further in Wales. What then? I can only see confusing time ahead with waters more muddy than clear Red, Blue or Green, thus don't expect any answers here, what do I know about these matters?
.

COFIO'69: THE FWA - WELSH HERITAGE TOURISM TRAIL with Gethin 'Grey Beard' as guide.

.
Brought a 'Flying Column' of Revolutionary Tourists, mostly 'Grey Beards' like myself down to the 'Old Country' for a few days traveling along the Western Section of the FWA HERITAGE TRAIL. First stop National Library of Wales, to attend a Cofio'69 event, but came a week too early, that's next week but might bring another tourism 'Flying Column' down for that maybe?
.
You will of course notice mud on my boots, due to an exceptional good outing into the wilds of the Abergwesyn pass, for a re-enactment of that FWA Training Camp episode. After an afternoon of manoeuvres, we had a few pints in Tregaron before pushing on for Aberystwyth.
.
However, still very worth the trip just to see the John Meirion Morris exhibition, that was terrific, this fella has genuine talent, and what he does, is truly inspirational. I highly recommend this exhibition, do go see! The Family history exhibition and much else at the NLW is also well worth seeing.
.
I of course made point of showing my tourist 'fellow travellers' the plaque in the picture, and just had to tell them the very sad 'home truth' that of all the Celts, the Welsh were real 'Brit Loving' grovellers. Thus again all to sadly our land was absolutely full of this identification with English Royalty, by way of constantly placing up of plaques and statues marking their connection or visits to Wales. I very much doubt if the Welsh will ever become Independent, let alone Independent of mind enough to demolish all this 'Saxon Loving Stuff', or take down and away and deposit in a park as a tourist attraction to illuminated on a past Colonial Wales. No!!!
.
Moving South, stopped at that famous 'Cofiwch Dryweryn' slogan where as their FWA Heritage Trail guide introduced the company to my Cofich Aberfan Revisionist version of the ''Welsh Sixties''. Also explaining the difference between 'Dreaming of Freedom' and reliving a 'Forgotten War'. All highlighted by visiting the grave of FWA Commandant Cayo Evans at Silian Cemetary before a visit to the Abergele Memorial he had put up in grounds of his home 'Glandenys'. Later in the day as dark approached we made it to Llangennech to place floral tributes at the grave of FWA Commandant Denis Coslett.
.

See two other items below re FWA Films plus BC eto!

.
Whilst on my travels and visiting 'Old Comrades', I learnt that there are three films/TV Docs on the go in which the FWA and ''Sixties Struggle'' are featured. More information on this, in due course over in my AWNM&S Hist Archive Blog.

.
Also en route got handed this Balchder Cymru Memoriam Card, I agree with the sentiments but when are you 'Balchderiaid' going to stop dreaming and commit to struggle instead of 'Standing on the Sholuders' of giants and wishing you were back in the 'Sixties'. Why not begin your own very real fully awake ADFYWIAD GWADGAROL CYMRU NEWYDD, perhaps at Gate of Caernarfon Castle on 1 July 2009, or maybe after your Abergele Commemoration on 4 July 2009, go on make it a Welsh Independence Day, why not?
.
On subject of BC, I think I may owe them an apology, they have and still are organising and holding annual FWA Commandant Denis Coslett Commemorations in Llangennech Cemetary, next one is on 23 May I believe? but check out BC website. If I owe them an apology, I will make it over on my Adfywiad Gwladgarol Blog.

Hwyl to Comrades!

REMEMBERING WELSH RESISTENCE 1963 - 69: The FWA and Patriotic Front Anti - Investiture Campaign.

.
My FWA Welsh Military Living History Re-enactment Society one man outing to a Living History Festival, of course I am not serious about an FWA - WMLHRS but nevertheless such will be considered over in my WELSH PATRIOT Blog in due course, in a feature on such societies.
.
Whilst at this festival, I keenly observed all the Military hardware on display put in place by Military Re-enactors and by the British Army, and it just got me thinking!!! Next time around, with Investiture III in mind, we got to think big! What we need is some heavy armour, as the Challenger tank below, we could really demolish Caernarfon Castle then!
.
Naughty! Naughty! such thoughts are going to get me in serious trouble again unless the 'powers that be' realise I am only being wickedly humorous and winding everyone up. HHHhhhmmm!!! But still, it's a thought and beats playing about with toy guns?
.
However, on the serious side please note that the anniversary of the death of FWA Commandant Denis Coslett is on the 20th May, please as from that date lay floral and ivy tributes on his grave. I have suggested to BALCHDER CYMRU who made Denis leader of their ''Liberation Movement'', that they organise a fitting special event to commemorate Denis. Also with patriotic purpose of opportunity to repudiate the 'Character Assasination' attacks on him in the book Freedom Fighters Wales's Forgotten 'war' by John Humphries.
.
We will soon see just who exactly are the fair weather and erstwhile 'Friends' or true 'Old Comrades' of Patriot Denis Coslett. Date suggested for such a commemoration being Saturday following 20 May, keep eye on BC blog for further information? Other than they, I am sure that all those who drank with Denis in Tafarn Llywelyn on day of the annual Rali Cilmeri, many of whom got medals from Denis at the Cilmeri Cenotaph will rush to organise a worthy commemoration if the 'Balchderiaid' fail to do so?
.
Interesting is it not how the establishment and so called ''Intellectual Intelligentsia'' can put up with a Drug Pusher. Giving such preferential treatment with articles in magazines and in other media, as well invited to festivals also a film made of his drug pusing life. But not patriots as Owen Williams and John Jenkins, what is it about our oh so pompous self styled ''Cutltural Intellectual Elite'' that they avoid real patriots as if they have the plague.
.
An example of this will be witnessed at the NLW on the 14 May when an event called Cofio 69 is to be held which will give the ''Cultural Crachach'' opportunity to spend public money glorifying their poetic and otherwise useless pathetic pacifist 'non struggle. contribution to the Anti - Investiture Campaign in the year of 1969. This Aberystwyth event complete with a £10 costing evening of 'Wine and Cnapes' really looks to be very exciting, of course in this case Howard Marks will not be attending but Peter Hughes Griffiths, John Meirion Morris and Gerallt Lloyd Owen will. This I am sure will overdose the 'Cultural; Nationalist' attending this event to Cofio'69 who these days seems to be short on cultural events and other stimulating activities on the edge of existence in socio - economic decline and soon to be in the grip of 'Swine Fever' Wales which includes Cymru too, perhaps not!
.
Me thinks! an idea springs to surface, possibly on the 1 July later this year, we shall have an 'Old PF/FWA Comrades' reunion in Swansea Market with Faggots and Peas, Cockles and Mussels all washed down with some Ginger beer. How does that grab you? and there will be no standing on ceremony, as we take a little trip down memory lane on a guide tour of Swansea Court House in which there will be an exhibition on the trial of the 'Swansea Nine', like hell there will!
.

6 MAY 1999: 10th ANNIVERSARY of FIRST ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS: What's to Celebrate? Ten more years of Colonialism?

.
Remembering the last ten years and thinking of the next ten years to come, in this regard what comments I might make now and hence should keep in mind the following. I am over the 60 mark and possibly past any sensible political 'sell by date', bordering on dementia and starting to leave notes around my flat. I have to carry a map around to find my way home even, and on top of it all my 'switch checking' OCD is getting worse, now takes me three checks to get out of the house.
.
Although I am not continuously washing my hands, that Hungarian suicide song 'Gloomy Sunday' is starting to sound appealing. So I guess I am a bigger threat to myself than any State or establishment, however if that gives the impression I am up for something dramatic as a 'Kamikaze' outing, forget it! as even at this 'Grey Beard' age, I am enjoying life not least still throwing ideas up in the air and insults far and wide. My blogs keep me occupied, and other wise ways of winding up the shite that's risen to the surface since devolution are most satifactory to stave of any 'Devolution Decay'.
.
Ten years later and what have we got? no more than a 'Coalition Conspiracy' to keep failed poilticians in power, is that not the greater truth? I have heard that already that the 'shites' are starting to crow about the 10th anniversary of the 6 May 1999 first Assembly Elections, that's my Dad's birthday may he 'Rest In Peace'. As a life long Labour man my Dad, apart from a short youthful flirtation with the Communist Party was what one would call a 'Sports Welshman', other than Rugby is other main sporting interest in Wales was Boxing. He would however, get very sentimental over such songs as 'We will keep a welcome in the hillsides'. He did however, vote yes in the referendum of 18 September 1997, that being a possibly more auspices historical anniversary. It was of course on that day, in Mis Medi 1400 that Owain Glyndwr made his attack on Ruthun and so began the long last liberation struggle 1400 - 1421.
.
How I got to be a radical nationalist with roots in rebellious Socialist Gilfach Goch and Merthyr Tudful, was a mystery to my father, but not so much to me. After all the same shift in loyalties came to many who had become what is now called a 'Victim of the Sixties', and there you have it, or maybe not? The point is, looking back at days when some of us really attempted to 'Seize the Time', I mean radically and militantly so! was it all worth it? I think the jury is still out on that one, but as the song goes No Regrets! The regrets should be with those who did not have the guts, courage, conviction and commitment to also really attempt to 'Seize the Time'.
.
As if more 'Welsh Nats' had done that in the ''Sixties'' we might now be celebrating something really worth while, as an Independent Wales perhaps?. But no! what we got is Devolution. That dear friends at end of day is no more than a political expediency where a clique of colonial natives are allowed 'Client Tribe' status so that they may all the more efficiently run 'Wales Colony' for their English Imperial Masters. Celebrate? what celebrate another 'Saxon Swindle', a confidence trick to sustain neo colonialism, for that's the position we are in. Lets face it folks, the history of politics since the ''sixties'' has been in reality the struggle of an upwardly mobile rural/agrarian new 'Cymraeg Crachach Newydd' attempting to win power from an old down wardly mobile urban/industrial 'Taffia Establishment' with it's roots in Labour and a verity of petty establishments and their committees, within the educational system and Police force free masonry, all of whom find mutual comfort in the WRU sporting establishment.
.
The irony is, that in the end both the the 'Old Taffia' and 'Crachach Newydd' have met up in the middle via the Welsh Assembly and Welsh Media, not least that BBC WALES/S4C establishment. Somewhere in all this there is a 'Brawdwriaeth', in a non racist way akin to the 'Afrikaner Broederbond' of old White Nationalist South Africa. I have my own ideas as to where you might find the roots of such a 'Brawdwriaeth' and it's not a million miles away from the ideas of Iolo Morgannwg to establish a Gorsedd of Druids, first on Primrose Hill in London and then on Stalling Down near Gowbridge. However, Iolo sought to establish a Gorsedd, as an 'Invisible Goverment', republican in it's politics and radically pagan spiritually. Unfortunately once he had returned to Wales. Iolo's Politically & Pagan Gorsedd ideas were hi jacked for something else completely, and went down, or up the road to represent in first place growing Welsh Non - Conformist Liberal Capitalism and eventually the Cultural Nationalism we are familiar with today.
.
Whatever, like I said the 'Shite' has risen to the surface! and there is no opposition to this, largely due to fact too many are willing to listen to the ''Nashy Nonsense'' that comes out of that thing calling itself PLAID? Though sadly what's left of radical militant alternative nationalism is nought but the swill of 'Retro Romantic Republicanism' at the bottom of a rather buckled and bent bucket that goes by different names from time to time, as 'Bucket Cyfamodwyr', 'Bucket Balchderiaid' or 'Bucket Cambrianista'. Compared to the Adfywiad Gwladgarol 1963 - 1969 and Anti - Investiture Adfywiadwyr of 1969 it is all pretty pathetic to say the least.

.

Yours, 'Old Greybeard', Adfywiadwr Gethin the Heretic.

.

Maybe yet! the last man standing?

.

PS: Although, I am rather hoping that a few will get off the fence pretty soon, see next and other postings to this blog. Also see The Welsh Patriot blog, AWNM&S Hist Archive and Pwca Power where the fun really begins?

.

NB:

Re foto at top of post, I am wearing an FWA Uniform this year, here and there, from time to time in tribute to my comrades of the 'Swansea Nine' in the PF/FWA 1969 trial, set up to undermine and thwart he radical Anti - Investiture Campaign.
