- From Alunindyafed and Cith ap Henri, see his letter below as printed in Western Mail.
- They are both right but few other members of Plaid are willing to back them, of course
- the truth is it's game over for Plaid, hardly any real Nationalists left in their ranks. Most
- that were have long ago left disillusioned and there are few of a younger generation who
- are interested in their 'Suits Generation' style of Reformist Moderation Cultural Nationalism.
- It does not take a Political Scientist to smell the coffee or see the writting already on the wall,
- the Plaid leadership will cop out on 'Welsh Independence' again, waffle away and baffle an
- already bored membership and then grovel away for Labour crumbs. No shame! No Guts!

SNP shows the way
SIR – The SNP in Scotland has shown the way forward for Plaid Cymru. We need to campaign hard and continuously on the need for a free Wales. A self governing state in charge of all her internal and external affairs.
The One Wales Government was successful in bringing further devolution but no further advances will come from being shackled to New Labour.
New Labour in Cardiff and the Tories in London offer us inertia and stagnation. Those of us involved in fighting the New Labour Party across Wales in the elections have seen what it is like. We want nothing to do with them.
Support for independence will grow as we campaign on it. There is little real difference between Wales and Scotland. When Gwynfor Evans led the party its demand was for national freedom for Wales.
He inspired me and thousands of others to support the idea of a Free Wales. It’s time Plaid Cymru got back on track.

- Myself, am beginning to care less and less as the days go by, I am retiring anyway and can live quite happy with a Welsh Assembly, dominated by an 'Hwntw' Socialist South, half way towards my Republika Siluria - Socialist Sepratist South. All I got to do know is convince Llais Gwynedd to go all 'Nothern Lombard League' and seek Independence for Gwynedd, maybe Pura Wallia as a 'Micro Nation'. I can live with that too but could Gwladgarwyr Gwynedd, after all who will pay for the National Eisteddfod, S4C and pointless Poets and Furry Gonks and an Urdd Eisteddfod too, just how much 'Culture Cymraeg' do they want inc a TV Service they hardly watch?
