Bae Cardydd Assembling For Protest at Welsh Assembly.
The annual Glyndwr Rally in Machynlleth was an idea concieved by Toni Lewis who attended a Plaid Cymru Summer School and was to hear and tape a talk on Owain Glyndwr by Patriot Bard Harri Web. Later having founded the National Patriotic Front we hit on the idea of holding an annual Glyndwr Rally in Machynlleth, That first rally was held with support of Cymdeithas Llywelyn, Anti - Investiture Campaign Committtee and the Free Wales Army. This entered into the pages of Hanes Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru 1962 - 1969 as a major contribution to the Anti - Investiture Campaign 1967 - 69:
Following 1969 I returned from Exile in Ireland and with Toni Lewis had formed the National Commemoration, later on at suggestion of Euring ap Gwilym the name was changed to Cofiwn. For my archiving purpose referred to as Mudiad Cofiwn - Cymric Consciousness Campaign:

We then began holding the September Glyndwr Rally more historically correct in Corwen to commemorate 16 Medi 1400 start of the Glyndwr led Rising and later, from time to time in Machynlleth. However it was not untill Embassy Glyndwr was founded that both the Corwen and Glyndwr Rallies were taken up with greater zeal to be made key annual Patriotic Rallies By Embassy Glyndwr. Despite best of efforts Sian Ifan the Embassy could not advance as well in Corwen as in Machynlleth, even so despite having held a great Owain Glyndwr Rally there in 2004 to mark the 600th anniversary of the 21 Mehefin 1404 the establishment of 'Senedd Glyndwr' - Parliament and Coronation of Owain Glyndwr as Owain IV 'Tywysog Cymru'. It has still taken some years for the Town to come up to speed and organise an annual National Commemoration themselves. This, since last year has been in development and thus this year will be the second annual Commemoration organised by a Machnlleth based Committee with contribution from Cefn Caer and continued participation from Embassy Glyndwr, particularly regards the parade of the Crown. So here at last you have it an annual National Commemoration which should be the equal of other great Patriotic Celebrations throughout the World. Historically of great signifigance, an event in which patriots to do not mourn as at Cilmeri but celebrate our greatest of Patriotic days and to make a stand for our National Sovereignty the central most important demand we can patriotically make. Politically crucial to the assembling of Patriots to a cause that must never be extinquised and a Rallying of People to the struggle for Sovereignty and Independence, anything less is a betrayal of all those who have fought and died to retain our peoples freedom and national Independence. This year you will have opportunity to show massive mobalisation of Patriotic Solidarity and Support for SOVEREIGNTY in front of Carwyn Jones the First Minister of the 'Sham Senedd' in Bae Caerdydd.
