Myself, believe now all this 'Byd Eisteddfod' is making up for the decline in Religion, in effect 'Yr Hen Iaith' has become the faith and the 'Welsh Language Industry' the new Welsh Religious Movement with all these poets full filling role of Preachers, as for Yr Urdd and that Gonk am still thinking about that, maybe a symbolic alternative to babi Jesus? Where does 'Y Crachach Newydd' and 'Media Crachach' and not least 'Y Gorsedd' fit into this theory which looks to me as being all a bit of hankering back to a Catholic Cymru of the Saints? Begging the question, would I ever want to live again in a Cymru/Wales under this lot. Think not, unless the Wales part was seperated from the Cymru part or at least Glywysing went it's own way with out so many 'Gogs' in Caerdydd for starters, they going back to Cymru would help halt the coming Mewnlifiad Fawr. Problem is too many Plant Crachach prefer Cardiff to Cardigan, Carmarthen or Caernarfon.

Not particularly Religious myself, nor either much religion in family back ground. Though Mam sent me off to Chapel Sunday School and once did her nut when I turned 'traitor' and went off to the Anglican Sunday School just to get a straw cross, what was I thinking of? Anyway, even I feel sad about all the empty decaying Chapels in Wales, why not turn them into Young Peoples Lodges similar to the one that Yr Urdd have down Pentre Ifan way. Less money given to the poets and others of limited use in the 'Arts and Farts' area, both Languages could fund such Chapel Lodges and create employment and make money in a number of ways via Cafes and B&B's whatever? Someone think on this and why not all the Menter and Antur Iaith get on to this, but forget the Gonk ok! and go light on Poets, instead get in skills trainers and be big on Allotments and Urban Gardening etc. Go into partnership with Cyreeneans maybe:
