    May Day in Wales 2010 appears to be more of a cultural event,
    not a Pagan Celtic 'Beltaine' fire festival but more the Calan Haf
    traditions and customs of a post Celtic more Christian Wales.
    That's ok! good, I and others have been making a case
    for revival of pre Christian Celtic Customs and tradional Welsh
    Traditons Customs for some years. Although I would myself like
    to see it all get more PAGAN! Whatever, very sad that a
    Socialist May Day celebration appears to have totally declined.
    No, great workers festival in Wales, that tells us a lot re
    'Welsh Workers' perhaps! and those who lead them or attempt
    to fight the workers corner but again 'Y Crachach' have sniffed
    out how to get more grants for their rather tame & mild
    'Cultural Revolution' rather than what we
    really need more of......
