The story of Arpad and his chiefs reminds me of the arrival of Cunedda and his sons leading Y Cymry from the British North into what is now Cymru/Wales today. Would this not be good inspiration to have set up a Cunedda monument much as the Hungarian tribute to Arpad, but where would we site such a monument? I am sure you want forget but Wales is playing France at the WMC today, best wishes and despite all that I said in previous post yesterday, I Wales wins. I have recently been researching material for a new post to my AWNM&S Hist Archive blog http://awnms.blogspot.com and whilst doing so, upon reading my To Dream of Freedom pp 168-169. I was reminded that it was on day ( 4th March 1968) of a Wales v France match that MAC made a bomb attack on the Llanishen Tax Office. Bit of a Grand Slam for the Underground Welsh Resistance Freedom Fighters, me thinks! Though some might not agree, most did as after all it was a Tax Office and many expressed the sentiment ''Thank God they got it right this time''. Naughty!!!
