Why not? I have subscribed to the excellent BBC Monthly History Magazine and, whilst they do not entirely ignore Wales, they of couse have to please the whole British Isles. In this they do a very good job but occaisionally in the readers letters pages there are complaints from Wales that bring up the Magazine getting something wrong or missing out on Welsh History.
.
However, if I had not subscribed to this magazine ( April 2010 Illustrated above) I think I would have missed out on 11 Ebrill being date that Llywelyn II *, Llywelyn ab Iorwerth died in 1240 that makes it the 760th anniversary. What's being done about that, anything? If not maybe some one or, organisation society should, as Antur Llys Rhosyr, Urdd Brenhinol Cymru or maybe a Cymdeithas Tywysogion Cymru or similar I have heard someone as established as a facebook? ( * I consider Llywelyn ap Siesyll as Llywelyn I in my Welsh Kings/Princes Regnal List >

March 2010 Issue of this magazine was particularly excellent with feature on latest location finding re Battle of Boswerth and Where Richard III was killed. Of real big interest is Apocalypse Then 410AD and the Romans leave Britain, in addition an article: The End of Roman Britain and related features on events in associated connection being held throughout British Isles, as at National Museum of Wales. Of particular interest is a small item on Castell Deganwy and it's importance to Hanes Gwynedd titled 'Where British Resistence Lived On'.
.
Me thinks some one/group or Society should organise this year, if not annually at this location a Cofiwn style Rally with Patriots Picnic. If such be organised, maybe August BH? do let me know please! So I can inform others, we should aim for a big event to mark 410 - 2010, 1600th Anniversary of the Romans leaving Britain and the victoy of Gwynedd over the Saxons in th 630's, this marks the founding of the future great Gwlad Gwynedd - the Bastion of Welsh Independence and Welsh Resistence to the Anglo - Norman Conquest of Wales..

If above has not made a case for a Welsh Hstory Magazine, then I shall have to make it a campaign, will you join me? But please note I shall be campaigning for an English Language Only Magazine not a Bilingual one, for a number of reeasons. As Follows:
.
1: There are enough grant funded popular and other Cymraeg Magazines.
.
2: Yes, there are grant funded English Language Magazines, but all for the ''Intelligensia'' and poets etc.
.
3: Masses of Grant Funded thus cheap Cymraeg publications are available.
.
4: Majority of substantial Eng Lang Welsh History books, recieve no grants and are thus very expensive.
.
5: Any Popular Welsh History Magazine must aim for maximum sales potential and not rely on grants.
.
If you have any ideas on this matter, do get in touch.
.
Note my new blog for Welsh History Info only: HWB HANES CYMRU/WELSH HISTORY HUB, you may submit news, info and articles.
