HERE IT IS - THE FOOTBALL WORLD CUP - May The Best Team Win as long as it's NOT ENGLAND! and at end of it all, let us hope Africa benefits!

.
Well Wales are you sick to deaf with all the Engerlund! Engerlund! plus the ephemera being shoved in your face? If you come up to London wear dark glasses or you will be blinded with all the white bearing Red Crosses of St George, if you do I advise you go for a drink in a strong ethnic based area with a football team in the World Cup as Poland or Brazil, plenty of Brazilians in London and they really know how to celebrate, not least if their team does well. Other than that, if England starts to do great why not take to the hills, particularly on eve of midsummers dawning 'Summer Solstice' on 21 Mehefin 'Troad y Rhod'. I am off to the 'Blue Stone' Preseli Mountains out West, join me for some Paganism! Immagine it's 410 AD and the 'Romans Are Leaving', lets revive Druidism - the 'Old Religion'.
.
Alternativelly, get cracking and produce some Anti - English Team propaganda and spend the coming weeks of World Cup duration useing such where ever most need?

On the serious side remember that Africa and it's children continue to suffer greatly, not least because of European Consumerism, expropriation of Africa's natural resources from minerals to Oil to the fish of it's coast. Not least Africa remains a land of disease, famine and wars many caused by the greed of Western Capitalism inc 'Super Market Monopolies' exploitation of people and expropriation of resources cheaply, so that little profit is made for reinvestment in the future of Africa.
.
.
Not when European Football Clubs all but 'kidnap' the Children of Africa for their teams, so making it impossible for African Teams to become successful in their own African countries and, the same is true of South America. There is a major crisis in World Football, but you are more likly to hear about on the BBC World Service late at night, than in the main media. for further, information on Africa, see my blog: Campaign Cymru.
