Then there's the matter of balance, after all the villagers of Capel Celyn
were compensated financially as were the people of Aberfan who lost
children in the disaster but c'mon Cymry, is there any real equal
comparison? No! certainly not and so, if I had to daub this wall with a
slogan it would be the more historically pertinant slogan COFIWCH
ABERFAN rather that what appears to be a Graffiti Artists 'Tag'. Whatever,
on the whole the 'Usual Suspect' knee jerker patriots might consider
some thing really radical politically Nationalist with a contemporary
political message as 'DITCH DEVOLUTION NOW!' whilst even moderate
Politcal Nationalists might consider 'REFERENDUM NOW!'. On the other
hand radical 'Language Activists' might consider, no! not 'Remember
Rebecca' but possibly more radical 'Remember Rhyfel y Sais Bach 1826'.
Indeed, if any one should be protesting about this wall being bought for
£80.000 with 'Crachach Cronies' involved in an unveiling ceremony,
it should be pobl Cymuned or maybe pobl Llais Gwynedd, yes?

The excellent Welsh Artist Sculptor John Meirion Morris came up with a fantastic design for a really good Tryweryn Memorial to be placed at Tryweryn. A campaign to raise funds £250.000 was launced some years ago but despite initially managing to raise part of the money, the appeal now seems to have fizzled out? This project has recieved no official support or offer of funding other than by Gwynedd County Council who stated they would contribute £60.000 if Liverpool Council did the same, that would rise between these two councils £120.000. However Liverpool Council declined and essentially said 'Thanks But No Thanks Taff!' , shame! as if WAG/Cadw give that £80.000 to this fund that would reach a total of some £200.000. If possibly the Fund Campaign has already raised £50.000 that would reach the Fund appeal target of £250.000 but the truth of the matter is that WAG/Cadw and Co would rather this political memorial was not made and certainly not placed anywhere near Tryweryn. No! of course not and why, yes! they would rather pay for a crumbling down wall a ''million miles'' from the site of colonial expropriation and exploitation that was the 'Tyrrany of Treweryn'. So what's to do, before I tell you 'Patriotic Bimbos' what you have to do, just take a look at the following >

.What's to do? Rise a bit of bother of course! Demand that WAG/Cadw give the £80.000 to this memorial not to the crumbling down wall, not least demand that Liverpool Council forks up £60.000 and Gwynedd Council too. Not least suggest to the fund organisers to spring into life and revive the appeal Campaign at this years National Eisteddfod. This new appeal to conclude at next years National Eisteddfod 2011 being held in Wrecsam with a Fund Campaign victory motorcade for a Patriotic Rally at Tryweryn to see where the memorial is to be placed.
