Truely is time for some marching in Wales, not to London, Palestine
or where ever but on the Vyrnwy land that is being sold off, now being
described World Wide as one of the biggest Land Sales aka 'Land Grabs'
ever held on the British Mainland. Not to march or at very least not
to campaign and patriotically protest is not only a treachery but most
foolish as what truely Nationalist Movement that seriously struggles
for Independence does not at some point in it's history begin to
march for people and community freedoms. See above 'Native American'
example above and the 'Salt March' in history of India's Struggle for
Independence also click on to following blog link, for further examples

Keeping in mind, I think it particularly important that our long walk
begins in the South by virtue of the fact that so many of the North
came to the Iron and Mining Valleys of the South during the 19th
Centuries, to me it's kind of symbolic that the our Cymric Long walk,
not only begins in the South but his led, at least for part of way by
descendants of those who came South. To this end, consider well
over coming weeks and go to Eisteddfod in Blaenau Gwent, with
the purpose of discussing and organising further the proposed long
walk. Hopefully a band of patriots will begin that Long Walk at conclusion
of Eisteddfod week, perhaps from the Chartist Statue in Blackwood, Gwent.

Note that in my next post to this blog, I will put down some ideas
that may be associated with this proposed Cymric 'Long walk For Wales',
mean while take in the following. I was remembering the other day how
I did not make it to the Tryweryn Opening Day 'Riot', that was the problem
with hitch hiking in the 'sixties' much depended on the lifts one got?
However, managed to get to a Plaid Cymru, yes Plaid Cymru was up for
protests 'Back in the Day', these days their younger members are most
likly to be found protesting against this or that war in London? Now
where was I, yes! on a Plaid Cymru organised march upon the
Clywedog Dam. I cannot remember how far we marched with our
flags flying or where from even, I presume Llanidloes? but I do
remember much of it was through woods, across fields and over
fences and down a slope towards the Dam construction site.
There we held a protest before one and all was evicted but some
how I remained behind a quickly locked gate, that was clever of me?
However, patriots on the other side sarted to get stroppy and
threatening to pull down the gates , so the security guys soon
let me out and we walked away content we had done a bit more
than sitting around talking, bloging or Face Booking?

Not least remember we pay the Colonial Occupiers and Colonist Land
Grabbers nothing, they and their central Government owes Wales and
our people millions for centuries of Tyrrany and Oppression, Exploitation

  1. Sadly Balchder Cymru has
just wasted time and effort on a rather pointless
    parade
and 'Celtic Camp' at Abergele, got to think things thru you know?
    If your not useing
the past as a platform for present patriotic struggle then
you just do not really respect the
memory of patriots thru the ages who
fought and died for Wales. Too many out there
are no more than 'key board
Face Book Fusiliers', if that's not true then may be we
    will see a 1000 or
more FBF 'Freinds' soon marching on Vyrnwy and occupying our own land
rather than the closet patriotism of being an 'FBF'. Time is at hand for you all

STOP PRESS: Don't say I have no 'soft side'. in fact I got that 'old fellas' condition of choking and starting to blubber if I see, particularly in TV films or docs some awful personal tradgety or disaster. I am just as bad if it is also something positive and heart warming, visiting the Aberfan Memorial reduced me to tears after just reading a few head stones. My Dad was the same, I have heard this 'condition' being discussed on Radio. But it stops there, I ain't going to get too 'touchy feely' about failing nationalism, political ignorence and patriotic foolishness as mentioned above. However, I came across the below in my web searching for these Vyrnwy posts and of course I empathise and feel it deserves to be at least a footnote to all I am saying in my posts. But then, there's a hard boiled cynical side of me that asks questions as, is this creative writting? if it is it deserves to be dramatized! However, it's also suggesting, that the Cofiwch Dryweryn Wall is also a memorial to the man who very much helped to build the dam at Capel Celyn? If so? patriots should take this aboard when being so fast of their back sides in footing the bill for this extravagance aka 'The Wall' of no return to positive present day patriotic struggle, get my drift? If I am wrong in such suggestion, I apolagise in advance sincerely.
